hard drive crash. ext drive import problems
My ext drive imported all songs PLUS duplicates when hard drive crashed. Now all songs are greyed out and not playable and include 3 times the songs due to unknown duplicates. Help!!
Re: hard drive crash. ext drive import problems
The external drive needs to be connected for MediaMonkey to be able to access the files. Then you'll have to do duplicate management: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... ate-tracks

Hi,
Lowlander is right and if I got correct on external Drive you have copy of original files and additional files?
If That is the case you can try to copy part of files on new hdd and select Grayed equivalent to use MMW File -> Located Moved Missing to allocate them in new location. Which if works you can do on your whole library then.
Before you do anything can you confirm that I got your problem correct?
NOTE: Before you do anything Backup MM.DB
