Continue playing where I left off

Hello, I'm new to MM and am trying to figure out how to operate it.

I have MM set as my default music player so when I open a new sound or song outside of MM or have my internet browser set to open a song after download is complete MM will interrupt what I was currently playing to play the new song, but then after the new song is complete MM doesn't go back to what I was playing before the new song was added. Is there a way to make this happen?
