Lost/locked files after crash

Hi,

(MM 4.1.20.1864/Win10) MM crashes quite regularly - mostly announced by repeating the first 10 seconds or so of a song. When I restart MM the song or the whole album is not available, either lost or locked, though I suspect it's simply locked. Is there a way to "unlock" these files?

You can try a different Output Plugin (Tools > Options > Output Plug-ins) or avoid tagging the playing song. How does the lock present itself?

The song or album is greyed out and MM simply skips it when I try to play the song. I'm not exactly sure, but I have a hunch that everything is unlocked if I restart Windows.

Thank you. I use a drive letter, so that may be the problem. I'll go and change that.
