Track listing customisation

Post by toff »

Hi,

No doubt the question has already been asked. However I cannot find any answer. It is related to MediaMonkey for Windows.

In the track lists in the upper part, there are 3 columns (Genre / Artist / Album). However, when selecting a specific album (from a specific genre and artist), it does not show the tracks only referring to this album on the bottom part (track listing) but instead shows all the tracks from the artist selected.
In other words, because I believe this is related, when double clicking on an album I would like MediaMonkey to start playing the 1st track of this album rather than the first track of the artist.

Basically, it is how itunes works. I used it in the past but would like to go away from it as long as this feature is possible.

Thanks for your help!

For some reasons now it works as I would like it to work. I restarted MediaMonkey. I still do not know which setting sets this up though so still interested in the answer :)

There is no setting for that, and it works now for you.

There are 2 settings of interest:
1) Default 'Double-Click' Action under Tools > Options > Player
2) 'Play Now' Action under Tools > Options > Playback Rules
