The first time I install a new skin from the .mmip file, things look good. I get a message: "G-Monkey Skin for MM4 was successfully." (full quote as displayed)
All looks good.
With the next launch, it reverts back to the prior layout.
Selecting any listed skin from Tools > Options > Skins, makes no difference. (It does restart the program. The skin doesn't change.)
I've tried re-installing the program.

Sounds like you're running the unskinned version of MediaMonkey. Disable that under Tools > Options > Skins and if that fails reinstall making sure you allow the Skin theme instead of the Windows theme.

Thanks. I uninstalled MM. And then reinstalled it allowing full overriding of Windows themes.
No difference. Regardless of the theme I choose, the player looks the same.
