Create Autoplaylist with a random subset of library

I have a large library of music and wish to create a playlist that has a random subset of music to put on my IPOD. Can I use Auto Playlist to create this subset?

Yes, limit the AutoPlaylist to a certain size and set it to Random Sort. You can add Criteria to include or exclude files or leave the Criteria blank to have it select from the full Library.
