My laptop was stolen and my MM library along with it.
I'd like to retrieve the mp3 files from my phone, hopefully grouped by the playlist membership they have on the phone.
I don't need to retrieve them into a new library or a MM playlist just now; if I have them in a directory (named for the playlist) on my new laptop, I'll be happy.
When I try to do this from the new 4.1.17.1840 installation on my new laptop (Windows 10), they wind up having the right Titles, but the wierd filenames from the iPhone.
I've been selecting all the files in a playlist, then Send To Folder (move or copy).
I read http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... le/View/3/ but it didn't sink in.
Thanks for any advice....Lyle

Re: retrieving files from iPhone
Correct, then run Tools > Auto-Organize Files on those files to rename the Filenames based on the tags.

Have you settle your problem? What did you do?
