Can someone explains something.
In File>Maintain there is an option entitled Create Multi-Artist Albums. If I select that, what does MM actually do?
I have searched for help (actually got zero hits in the Forum - a first?) and the wiki didn't seem to have any answers.
As far as I can see, MM defines a Multi-Artist album as one where there are more than one different Album Artists in an Album. Is this correct? If so, does the option in Maintain take those Albums and split them into Single-Artist Albums? If so, it is a misleading title.

Re: Multi-Artist Albums
No, it groups tracks on the the Album by modifying Album Artist. An Album for MediaMonkey is where Album and Album Artist have the same values.

Re: Multi-Artist Albums
Many thanks for the explanation.
I should have found that when I searched though. However its did appear under "editing album properties" so perhaps understandable that I missed it.
Thanks again
