I am wondering: Is there a way to create custom keyboard shortcuts or another efficient tag entry protocol?
Specifically, at the moment I would like to create a very simple one or two stroke way of inputting a tag value to a selected or currently playing title.
For an example to my specific purposes: I have selected or am listening to a track, say Moonlight Sonata, and I want to tag its "Mood" field (or any of the "Custom" field, or any field, really) in "Classification" with a predetermined value such as "Mellow". I want to do this with a simple click or keystroke so to more efficiently populate the field on the fly.
Suggestions?
Addendum: and less specifically - is there a way to make custom shortcuts for anything?
Thanks

No, only what's available in Tools > Options > Hotkeys works. Scripting will probably allow you to do as desired, but I'm not aware any script like this exists (so you'd need to create it from scratch).
