I have a new hard drive. Hooray.
I am copying the music files from the old to the new drive.
Estimated time to complete is still reading over 12 hours.
Yes, there are many many mp3s and flacs to transfer across.
I know MM4 is not gonna be at all happy about this change in hard drive.
In the past MM has made my life miserable when changing drives.
As far as MM is concerned the old drive will no longer exist.
The new drive will have the same drive letter [M:\drive] as the old drive.
So I ask:
When the music files have completed their journey to the new drive, what is the safest MM procedure to follow please.
Please speak slowly
Thanks,

First, you can use MediaMonkey to move the files thus avoiding any issues with the DB looking in the wrong place. If you do decide to move files outside of MediaMonkey you can use File > Locate Moved/Missing Files: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... sing_Files or use: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... w_computer
