I am really depressed right now.
All my effort to get the album covers.
I was trying to make room on my hard drives and cleaning up.
So I went into my recycle bin, and there was listed a ton of my music. I thought this was just the original files from when I ripped the cd's to flac, and deleted all of them.
But now, when I go to MM, all my cover art is gone.
WTF?????????????????
I hope I am wrong, but I think I am really screwed.

Have I lost all my album art?

Do the songs in your library still play. Do they show empty Album Art on the Album Art tab of the Track Properties?

Re: Have I lost all my album art?
Nothing plays
Now on my HD that I only keep the music, it says I still have them.
But does that mean I have the music or also the album cover art?
I also backed up the files on another hard drive, up to August, but what does this mean?
Was it storing that album cover art in my recycle bin???
Will I have to uninstall MM, and reinstall it to recognize those files in my hard drive? Worried about the doubling effect.

Re: Have I lost all my album art?
Then it would seem that you have removed your tracks from the PC and all is lost. I'd suggest you do a search in Windows Explorer for the file types you had music in (*.mp3 for mp3's) to verify the tracks are no longer on your PC.

Yes,
Have the music listed and playing, but now everything is doubled.
Lowlander, can you give me a link to a quick fix for this? I know it has been asked to death.
P.S. Thanks again for being such a good help on this forum. I certainly appreciate it.

You can remove the tracks from Library > Files to Edit > Dead Links in most cases and if that fails there should be a drive entry in the Library > Location node that doesn't have a drive letter that you can remove (if you're certain you want to remove all tracks from the drive from the Library).

There is no "right click" on the dead links.
That sure is a lot of dead link files.
It doesn't delete, just runs through the whole list. Must be a way to delete these dead links in one shot.
Think I got it. Just hope that when I hook up the Sqeezebox Touch, and new Pioneer A/V recevier, everything will play nice with each other.
Alright, I got that listed. Do I just Control A the whole lost listed and then remove? You can remove the tracks from Library > Files to Edit > Dead Links in most cases and if that fails there should be a drive entry in the Library

Then I did it as mentioned above. And that worked.
You and lowlander are the keeper of the flame.
I hope MM keeps you guys in mind when they release the MM Diamond Edition.

For some reason, that didn't work. It just cycled through the whole mess. Which I just closed down the program.select all, right click on one of the selected tracks, remove.

Ctrl+A and Delete should work. Tracks deleted from the Dead Links won't get delete from the PC (also because they don't exist) so you can do so worry free.
