Volume Control Disappeared

I have no volume control in MM anymore -- one day it just wasn't there -- I now control the volume from the speakers directly - any ideas what happened?

You're saying that the volume control is physically missing or that it is there but it controls the system volume instead?

did you change to a skin that has it in a different location?

what version of mediamonkey are you using.

i've had trouble with windows closing the speaker used for volumn in its tray maybe it did something to monkey too?

go to the control panel then to the sounds and then turn on the option to show icon in tray. maybe if windows did it then it will show it back in monkey.?

You should upgrade to latest MM 3.2 and see the results.

Take a screenshot of your MM and upload it to imageshack.us and post the link here, or at least tell us what skin you're using.

I upgraded to 3.2 and no luck...can take a screeenshot -- but, don't know how to save it to upload it -- can paste it into a word doc - but, imageshack only uploads picture files - like jpg etc...

Just paste it into microsoft paint and save as a jpg file.

only other thing that will make the control disappear i can think of would be bad sound drivers. but that is for windows not just in mediamonkey?

so this is a strange error you have going on there, hope you get that screenshot posted or sent to peke or nohitter151.

it might be a good idea to turn on the tool tips if you are getting a new skin to use with mediamonkey.
because the controls are in a different location for each skin.

and mine almost never have normal buttons for the controls.
