Hello, is there any way to point mediamonkey at an odbc dsn rather than directly at this mdb? I'd like to point it at my sql server because
--easier to query data
--easier to modify schema
--performance
--I would like to run multiple instances of mediamonkey against the same database
Thanks,
Ron

MM can currently work with MS Access database only. In order to work with other SQL servers, some modifications of code would be needed. This is planned to do sometimes, but probably not too soon.
However, you can work with the Access DB from several computers across network, there are already several reports of successful setup of this.

Yep, there are no real problems running several PC's accessing the same DB.
You might notice that MM becomes slightly slower and that certain updates done on the DB take a few seconds to a minute to show up in all instances of MM.
