cd text

Post by mitkase »

have burnt several audio cds with mm 2.1 standard; music seems fine, however the cd text always ends up being 'audio cd,' 'track 01,' etc. nero burns cd text fine, so i know it works on my drive.

am using win xp pro and a compaq internal dvd/cdrw (qsi sbw-241) on a presario 2100.

Most Of windows Audio players do not read CD-Text From CD.

Try this Freeware Product:

http://webclub.kcom.ne.jp/ma/takabin/files/LDPlayer.zip

Note: Just unzip in desired folder and start APP.

but cds played in my car stereo gives the 'track 01,' etc. while when using nero6 or wmp it works as expected and the actual track name is displayed.

but thanks.

This is why I have send to you link to this Player couse it reads CD-Text from disk CDPlayer.ini(and other) can be turned off. I had same problems with Nero 6, so I returned to 5.5.9.17 and it worked just fine. Maybe the problem is in Nero and one stupid Question have you checked CD-Text within MM to enter CD-Text?
