Re: MM5 Appears To Be Still Playing
I'm pretty sure that's by design. The Play button should change state and playback position should be at start, but otherwise Stop doesn't remove the file from the Player/Preview. It didn't do this in MM4 either. It also shows this on MM start. It indicates which file will play when hitting start. ...

Re: MM5 Appears To Be Still Playing
I can't replicate on the most recent build. Can you send a debug log? (item 4b here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643) You can add a stop button in Tools > Options > Layout > Player. Thanks drakinite. I didn't know about that option. I also changed it from Waveform B...

MM5 Appears To Be Still Playing
I have noticed that when I right click on the "Play" button and press "Stop", the main screen still displays as if the track is still playing. The screenshot should show you what I mean. https://i.imgur.com/ZRTEtAo.jpg And by the way, can we have some skins with a "Stop"...

Re: Is Anyone Running MediaMonkey 4 & 5 Together?
Thanks, all.
I think I'll go with two installations.
There is only one thing better than MediaMonkey. It's two MediaMonkeys.

Re: Change Licence for MM4 & 5
Glenn, MediaMonkey has two kinds of licenses: x.x and lifetime: - An x.x license is cheaper and provides upgrades for the current release. e.g. a MediaMonkey 4.x license purchased in 2011 has received upgrades to every MediaMonkey 4.x release through today, but it won't receive upgrades to MediaMon...

Re: MediaMonkey for Android TV Help
I got the Service running. It is displayed twice with the same IP address. Not to worry.
Either way, it is no better than Asset. I can't browse via the MMA interface.

Re: MediaMonkey for Android TV Help
Edit:
I just went into Services and opened up MediaMonkeyService and went to the Log On and re-entered my password, then manually started it, and it started without any error.
Should the Startup Type be Automatic?

Re: MediaMonkey for Android TV Help
If the PC with MediaMonkey is running Asset, I'd say yes, but I've not used Asset. You can install MediaMonkey as a Service which will run at start of PC (before logging into Windows). You can start by trying MMW first and see if this provides a better browsing experience through UPnP in MMA: https...

Re: MediaMonkey for Android TV Help
It depends on the DLNA Server how useful UPnP is as the server provides the browsing structure to the client. So for example, MMW as Server can provide the same browsing structure as in MMW, inluding Artists, Genres and Folders. So you think that the only proper way to do it would be to have MediaM...

Re: MediaMonkey for Android TV Help
That is correct which pretty much makes the UPnP functionality on MMA useless to me as I need to be able to browse my media with the MMA interface. I think if MMA had SMB share functionality, then it would probably allow me to browse my library with the MMA interface. Any other ideas? I don't like t...

Re: MediaMonkey for Android TV Help
Yes, I've been trying to set it up with Asset.
I could use any DLNA compliant UPnP media server.
Most of my music media is FLAC.

Browsing in MMA.
As mentioned above, the MMA nodes are empty.
I bought the 3 additional addons that gave me the Pro version. One of the addons being UPnP.

Re: MediaMonkey for Android TV Help
I am also using MediaMonkey on my Android TV and have it working. I am currently using MediaMonkey UPnP via Asset UPnP , but if I browse the MediaMonkey nodes, they are empty and I am prompted to add media. Is there a better way to do this so that I can browse my music via the MediaMonkey nodes? I h...
