Re: Modifying collection column widths in scripts

Sorry, I don't think this is possible. It's all stored in the register, I believe, but I don't think you could make changes whilst MM is open, it would just overwrite them with the values in memory.

Re: how to move / backup music to dropbox??

If you want to move it, you can use the Auto-Organise functionality in MM to rename/move all of your tracks into the Dropbox folder location. You could also use this to copy the tracks, for a primative backup - but obviously the two copies would quickly get out of sync. There was a script that did a...

@testyquesty - ??? @dypsis - once the panel has been removed, how else would you expect to be able to get it back? I don't mind adding another method if you have an idea. @Barreltje - there's a bug with the statistics at the moment, so maybe that's the problem you're seeing. Third party skins might ...

I'll certainly take a look at Discogs when I get a chance, this is already on my list. I'd not realised that iTunes allowed you to search, so that's interesting! I'll certainly take a look, as they're likely to have a great curated source of data.

Yeah, this script really needs sorting out. But good sources are hard to come by, and Google keeps messing around with their source. I don't fancy paying for the webservice access though.

Yeah, this particular script seems to do that a lot. I can't work out why, even after rebuilding the installation package from scratch. If anyone can figure it out, I'd be really pleased! :)

Yeah, about the encoding issues, that's a VBScript thing. It can do UTF-16 but not UTF-8, which causes all kinds of problems! It's on my list to try and sort it, but not had much luck so far.

@odobo - does that error message have a line number?

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014

That's exactly what it does, and that's exactly why it outputs a confirmation message asking you if you're sure, which a count of how much would be deleted! It has to do a clean up, otherwise when you delete scripts and stuff, they wouldn't be deleted from the backup.

@KyleHxAgain - sorry, I don't really do documentation. Scripting is a hobby for me and documentation doesn't fall into the "fun" category :) If you've got any questions though, myself and others on the forum will do our best to answer. I try to make my scripts as intuitive as possible, but...

Re: Previewer 2.9 - Updated 26/07/2014

Thanks. That's an interesting idea, I could also increase the setting by one before adding a track and then decrease again afterwards to ensure there's always room for it without messing up the rest of the list. I'll add it to my list.

That's where all scripts appear, unless they are reports (in which case it's File > Reports) or an autoplay script which adds it's own tree nodes or menu items.

Sorry, I've never seen that message before, I've got no idea about that.

This script will use the BPM value that is in the field, but it cannot calculate it.

Re: Custom Report 3.2 - Updated 29/07/2014

Not sure, that's just the loop that creates the folder location you've selected for the report, if it doesn't exist. You could try adding "MsgBox pFolderPath" on the line before. Then when you run the script, you'll get a popup each time it's about to run that line. Hopefully that will hel...

You have the image type set to "Other" (bottom right corner). You'll need this set to "(ANY)" to possibly "Front cover".
