Re: TimeCode in seek bar gets "confused"
As a matter of good practice, you should always periodically backup the .DB file, at least (on same system). You don't have to perform a "new system" point towards new database. Just copy single file and archive in a folder with a date or some other identifier. This way if something happen...

Re: Best method for 2 custom attributes
Ideally, I would like to add "Amazon Matched" and "X-Ray" as column titles for a boolean-valued attribute. And to be able to see those values in the display. And to be able to search on those values (find all songs where "X-Ray" == true). You can Add custom columns/tit...

Re: 2 podcast issues (can't remove, can't add)
You have to add subscriptions node to Podcast collection from:
File > Manage Collections > Podcast > Tree Nodes tab > check subscriptions > ok > ok
> look at tree > open Podcasts node > open subscriptions node >> right click on individual subscriptions.
File > Manage Collections > Podcast > Tree Nodes tab > check subscriptions > ok > ok

1.) Yes that is old > on any MM site page look at top menu > click on Support > top menu > Knowledge base. 2.) It's just a fancy way of presenting your physical CDs as pseudo-physical CDs. There are some people who still have or like to collect and keep track of what exact "physical format"...

He means do you use folder monitoring, volume analyzing, or subscribe to podcasts, etc., as these are all MMcentric processes that could effect shutdown process.

Re: Folder Art Issue
It works fine for me. Not sure what's going on. In the meantime, you can save the artwork from the tag by entering properties > artwork tab > hover mouse pointer over image you desire > right click (has to be clicked on actual image not surrounding area/focus) > save as > find folder in explorer. Wh...

Re: Folder Art Issue
To save to a folder from Auto-Tag from web? To save to a folder from being manually downloaded?
To save from already being in the album folder to the tag?.....or to save from the tag to a folder?
Can you describe the process you go through to save art?

Re: ok. i'm trying to like MM.....
now if i could just get it to stop listing duplicates! :-? The only thing I can think of to suggest is to go to File > Locate Moved/Missing files > choose C:\ drive, if that's where all your music is. However, this should only work if the paths are different. Also, whenever you make changes outside...

Re: "Now Playing" Keeps Shrinking After Each Restart
Yeah, that's an odd one. I've had similar things happen through the years , but nothing that ever lasted too long. I think nohitter meant, if you think it is MonkeyRok, you can temporarily fix it by not using it for a while to see if it shows up again. After a while, reimplement MR and if behavior c...

Re: Tracks playing out of order only in recent albums backed
Those questions are asked to find out if they are also out of order in other scenarios, which might then tell us something about why they are out of order in MM. The closest things to explorer inside MM are the Filename and Path columns. Since the ripped files work in explorer, are you able to sort ...

Re: MM can't find any files in library, plus other problems
This appears to be a memory issue and has been reported in forum before, but is often accompanied with a sketchy series of options instead of something simpler. I found this article and possible solution you could try: http://blog.rongabriel.com/not-enough-storage-is-available-to-process-this-comman...

Re: Playing track 'jumps' when Editing others
Does it do this regardless of the skin you use. The skin might be buggy. I noticed it jumping around quite a bit around section borders near bottom during the video.
Might just be something that happened during video record process.

Re: more weirdness
Might I suggest that in the meantime, while you try things out/practice things, you look back at my post for the locations of the .DB file and just "copy" it to a folder callled, say, "MM backup" located anywhere outside of the program (preferably on an external). Then you can go...
