Here's a question

When you were able to play the song, but not search it did you go through 'Location' or 'My Computer' to see the file? You see the 'My Computer' node doesn't represent the MM DB, it just shows you all the songs on your system. The 'Location' node shows all the songs in the MM DB. This easily shows y...

Gold

MM Gold has the solution: File Monitor. You can set File Monitor to monitor any folder(s) you want and it will update the MM DB with any changes that occur there like new files.

Nice

Well it does sound very nice, but you should be able to stop it for certain CD's (ones you updated already yourself). I myself wouldn't need it at I mostly add trackinfo myself (is quick and easy in MM).

Wow

Wow that's some heavy stuff they got there, lot of terms I'm unfamiliar with. Thanks anyway for the link. The only real thing left is what the auto setting for sample rate does?

New Player window idea

It would be nice to be able to open the player external from MM ie click on MM player to open externally. This external player would look different than the current player. This player would have modules which can be turned on and of as the user desires. Here are my modules: * Player controls (not n...

Search

I want to be able to search for a specific artist in a specific genre, then add another search with another artist in maybe another genre and so on. My idea is that when you add a condition you can add a subcondition to that with of course the normal search parameters as (AND, OR and NOT). Then when...

Sample Rate

What's the differences in sample rate, ecpecially between auto, 48000 and 44100? Would it be advicable for best quality to always use 48000 or are there problems with that sample rate known as I always see 44100 used. Or does filesize just explode?

Return to last seen window button

Often when done searching I would like to return to the window I was seeing before starting the search. With huge libraries this could involve quit some scrolling in the explorer tree. As such I would like to have a 'back' button that remembers the last node I saw (maybe even last 5).

CDripping

I saw someone on download.com complain about the slow speed of CDripping and I though, yeah it could be faster. So I checked out the CDripping plugin in MM and I saw you can change the drivespeed there. With me it's standard set on 4x and my CD can go 48x. So I wonder does changing this to a higher ...

No bugs yet

I have not found any bugs yet. Have done some CD ripping, playing music and editing. I also finally found the workaround for ripping CD's with my own edited tags. Just need to disable FreeDB in the options menu and edit tags in the CD node. Then rip and all filenames and tags are written the way you...

Send-to and network

I miss the network under the send-to menu, under folders it only lists the local drives.

I run everything throught the network, eventhough the songs are on the local machine, this allows other machines to use the same DB, without having to make copies or update them.
