in your options to set up mm there is a button to click to set up formats you have that you want mm to play. go to tools on file menu then to options, left click it and open the panel check out all your options for mm you will find the one you want to set up, they changed them from what i remember b...

quicktime for windows is defunked there is a thread where the issues is tracked for adding the decoders in to mm4.

dang you just keep adding in wants. it'll take some time to figure something out unless peke or lowlander or trixmoto can script something faster.

more likely caused by plugging in and unplugging the external hd. and it getting a new number when you do that. mm scans in the songs and lists them on the new number drive.
i just leave the external as back up and play the songs from the main hd. and keep mm from scanning the external.

sounds like more background items are running and hogging the cpu cycles. see if you can set the options for mm exe to run in high priority and stay that way after a reboot. if not find a process manager that does that for your op sys. then set mm.exe to run in high, that gives it the line jump pass...

i do what lowlander said and add rule that only picks songs last played x days prior to the current date. songs are always changing then, provided you play the whole playlist when you play it. otherwise the songs on the list that didn't get played have the chance of being added next time the list op...

Um there was a prorgam from bellcraft that would read the clipboard every time something was copied to it and send the data to the msagents voice engine and have it read aloud.

I use it as lowlander said except I use auto organizer I use two paths and keep the files where they are by only having mm scan for new files, then move them myself to where I tell mm to put them. I also never unplug the external hard drive.

Mm isn't a tracker it's a player and encoder and organizer. You can play midi files online with quick time plug in. I'm not sure if the old mod player still works or the old mod tracker.
