If the script works with other SBs then it will work with a Duet, because the Duet will be driven by the same slimserver sending the music to it, it's just that the Duet receiver will not have its own visual interface - that is moved to the new Controller (which will also work with other SBs). (SB1,...

Excellent! I've just done step 1 and it went perfectly smoothly (and quickly, considering that .m4as slow things down). I have to get some sleep now but I will try to find out how to edit the paths or export playlists in unix style tomorrow. Thanks a lot, Peke!

I'm a bit vague on that subject. Does this mean I should use \\music-cube\ instead of x:\, or even \\192.168.0.101\. How do I get that into MM - delete all the current tracks and add them again by browsing to the network place, instead of the mapped drive letter? Excuse my ignorance. Thanks for the ...

I'd like to add a "me too". I'd love to be able to control a slimserver somehow in conjunction with MM3. I just started a separate thread in Help asking if it was possible to somehow export playlists from PC-MM3 that unix-flavoor slimserver can understand, but I like the idea of this threa...

Drive letter (Windows) vs. unix path needed for playlists

Hi- Is there a reasonable work-around for this? I have a Windows drive-letter style reference to file locations in MM3, but I need playlists to save with a unix-style path. (It would be a bonus, but not essential, if MM could then still use the playlist.) In detail: I recently bought MM Gold, runnin...

Yes, I have a similar setup, but only 18000 tracks, of which about a third are .m4a. The import took a long time, and saving tag changes for m4a takes a heck of a long time per track. In contrast, reorganizing file names of m4as is as quick as any other. I will read that other thread link to see if ...

Re: multiple-player suppor is a must for serious work

I have been looking for multiple library support for several years. No one has it otherwise I would be using their product. MediaMonkey is my best hope for such a critical tool. I suggest that this would be used very frequently by anyone trying to work on their collection of ripped, purchased, port...

I'm only just learning myself, but wouldn't it be good enough to set the custom sync for the podcast to only sync the last 3 unplayed files, or something like that? I'd like the ideal answer to your question too.

Is there some confusion here? .m4a is apple lossless, and I am just in the process of deciding whether to convert these to flac or not, hence looking in this thread.
