Re: Crash on batch edit of Comments field
Pavle, the instructions for how to send bug reports mentions that the debug version is bundled with each beta, but I am not using a beta. Should I still use the debug version that is provided for the latest beta, or is there a different debug version for v4.1.24? Sorry if this is silly to ask, but I...

Re: Crash on batch edit of Comments field
Ah! Yes, I see it now. So sorry for the redundant question. I will follow the guidelines. Thank you. You will see in my signature section a "how to report bugs" or similar ... go to that link and it will explain how to use the debug version with a routine called debugview (it is from Micro...

Re: Crash on batch edit of Comments field
Hi again Pavle,
I replied above a week ago...I know sometimes posts can get lost when you have so many to comment on...would you mind please letting me know how to use the debug version to sort this out, if that's the correct procedure? Thank you

Crash on batch edit of Comments field
I'm on the latest 4.124 build and I am pretty sure I've accomplished this in the past. I select multiple files in my browser (using the Location node) and right-click > Properties, then click the checkbox on Comments so the contents of all selected files is cleared. The Properties window disappears ...

Re: Export to iTunes library.xml
I'm happy to report that your updated script is working perfectly. I even updated MM and Traktor to the most recent versions (4.1.21.1875 and 2.11.13 respectively) and it's still working fine. Thank you so much for putting in the work on this - my workflow just got easier again when preparing for DJ...

Re: Export to iTunes library.xml
Thanks for this! I'm so tickled that there are others out there with this same need who are proficient at coding :) Has anyone else tried this out yet? I'd love to know. I went through so much hassle when I had to downgrade my Traktor version for compatibility that I'm probably a little gunshy about...

Re: Export to iTunes library.xml
Hi, I'll take a look again when I have a moment. In the meantime, I reverted back to an earlier version of Traktor which does not have the issue so that I could prepare for my sets in time. The next time I have a few weeks of down time between gigs, I'll play around with it again. Thanks!! Hey, sorr...

Re: Export to iTunes library.xml
brute force comparing od two XMLs with one or two tracks manually corrected should help to determine what changes are needed. Sigh...I am still clueless about how to implement this suggestion. I've actually contracted a VB coder on Fiverr to take a look at the 2 scripts and see if he can figure out...

Re: Export to iTunes library.xml
Hi Pavle, I'm assuming you're directing this at bambule, the user who provided the workaround code. If you were directing this at me, as the most recent poster on this thread, I'll need some further explanation as I don't understand this level of tech. If not, is there anything you can suggest for m...

Re: Export to iTunes library.xml
Hi, thank you for working on this. I too have been having crashes when loading iTunes after updating to 2.11.2. I copied your amended code as listed under "Here you are" but now when I close MM, it no longer launches the script, even though I have it placed in the Scripts\Auto folder. Was ...

Re: How can I recover info from older DB file backup
Strangely, the files themselves are not missing - only their presence in these playlists. Playlists only reference a file's path. They don't remove or manipulate the files themselves. Yes, I know this. But somehow the references to certain files disappeared from the playlists. One playlist in parti...

Re: How can I recover info from older DB file backup
Thanks, I temporarily replaced my DB file and was able to export the playlists in question. Strangely, the files themselves are not missing - only their presence in these playlists. Still not sure how it could have happened, but since I work with several audio programs along with MM, I can't be sure...

How can I recover info from older DB file backup
Hi all, I'm running the latest MMW 4.xx and somewhere along the way, I've discovered that a couple of playlists I've curated over the years are missing a lot of entries. I'm not sure how it happened, whether it was something within MMW or in one of the other apps I use in conjunction...but I have a ...

Re: Magic Nodes 4.2 w/ 380 masks & real GUI (2011-07-01)[MM2
does anyone know if it's possible to create a node that lists tracks that were recently added to playlists? That is not possible since the PlaylistSongs table, which contains information about files in playlists, doesn't contain a field with a date when file is added to the table. However, the Play...
