Re: Sorting Question

I understand about the paranoia. But don't be afraid. I second the copying of the database file. Close program. If windows 7 (or if computer savvy translate or lookup on net for other Win OS) install version, copy file from C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey . If portable, Whatever ...

Re: Sorting Question

Is "infer file properties" in - options > Library - checked?
If so, uncheck and see how the browser is behaving.
You can always just check it back if it scares you.

Re: What is the best backup methodology (no devices or perip

Ok, I feel like I worded what I'm wanting to know incorrectly. I also don't want this to be like one of those posts where it feels like someone is beating a dead horse" So, I'm gonna take one more stab at it and let it go. "best backup methodology" in topic title refers only to MM files (library, se...

Re: What is the best backup methodology (no devices or perip

Lowlander what do you mean by "media file backup"? Is that a program or are you just generally saying make sure you back up all your media files. I have no worries in that department. That script looks really neat, will look into that. But I want to know it from the manual/DIY perspecctive. Anyway, ...

What is the best backup methodology (no devices or periphs)

What is the best general backup methodology (not accounting for devices/peripherals). I mean, as I understand it, the basic idea is to: make a copy of your .ini and .db. The .db, from what I understand, holds the library and collections/columns/nodes data. And the .ini holds the options, eq, search,...

Yeah, I figured it is currently not possible. I would love to have this as a new feature though.

Re: Initialization error/Access violation...

I agree with Lowlander. Upgrade to 4.1.1.1702 if you don't have the patience to send the bug report first. I've had trouble with one thing or another in every version of MM I've ever had. So far, since upgrading to latest version, I haven't had a single issue. It could also be hardware. I recently b...

Re: I want to change Show Links in File default browser

Ok, I fixed the problem. I checked default status in Cyberfox and it was default. So, I unclicked it > closed it > restarted > reclicked > reclosed > restarted and it worked !!!! For some odd reason it was hung up. Might be a Cyberfox "current version" bug or just some momentary quirk. But at least ...

I want to change Show Links in File default browser

I can't stand IE. I want to change the browser associated with the "file list" links (amazon, google, etc). Is this possible? I have Cyberfox (64-bit Firefox variant) set as default. I have also associated all internet/web extensions to it in default programs panel in windows 7. The links are still ...
