Re: 2078: Auto-Tag window freezes

Nothing at all, the dialog just stops responding. If it's any help, I figured out that the init function in dlgAutotag.js completes fine, and the freeze happens somewhere afterwards. I'm not exactly sure how the init function is called, so I wasn't able to trace it further. Also, I set breakpoints a...

Auto-Tag window freezes [#14405]

Hi everybody, I'm not sure if it's an actual bug or a feature still under development thing, but I just installed the latest revision, added a couple of tracks to the library and tried to autotag one of the files. The Autotag window opens and is populated with the current information of the selected...

Re: 2075: Wrong URL encoding when using getURLContentAsync

Alright, so using encodeURI before passing an URL to getURLContentAsync is not just a workaround but the accepted solution. Thanks for letting me know!

2075: Wrong URL encoding when using getURLContentAsync

Hey there, I believe I found a (possible) issue when using app.utils.web.getURLContentAsync. I'm currently working on an plugin for the new autotag framework for vgmdb.net and noticed that lookups with getURLContentAsync consistently fail if the URL contains certain japanese characters, e.g. 瀬 or 々....

How to use app.getObject

Hi everybody, I am having slight issues using app.getObject. It appears like the only working filter for album objects is id. To illustrate: app.getObject('album', {id:232}) .then(album => album.id) .then(albumID => app.getObject('album', {id:albumID})) .then(album => console.log(album)) // object i...

Re: 2075: The "all tracks" view doesn't seem to be pure!

We need to find a good terminology so that it's easier to talk about the features... ;-) Any, for me that far top right feature is just the Search. Your post reminded me of a Windows Client support training I attended several years ago. One of the topics there was the correct usage of official name...

2075: ISRC field not available in the list view layout

Hey there, the field ISRC is not available when using either List View or Grouped View, in neither the context menu when right clicking the column header nor in the Choose Columns dialog. This doesn't seem to be related to any specific type of music type or node, it applies to all music types and no...

chromium engine async functions

Good evening, currently, promises are extensively used in MediaMonkey due to the obvious benefits asynchronous workflows provide. A while ago, the chromium engine implemented async functions, which kind of extend the idea of promises. Unfortunately, those functions are currently not available in Med...

Re: Web taggers and auto tagging

Thanks a lot for the information! I was checking the files you mentioned and could migrate the basic functionality of the web tagger to the new framework. Regards to whoever wrote the detailled template header in autoTagFrameworj.js, it was incredibly useful.

Web taggers and auto tagging

Hi, I'm not sure if it was always there and I just didn't see it, or if it's a new addition, but I just discovered the Auto-Tag feature, and from the looks of it, it shares a lot of functionality with the Auto-Tag from Web function. Is this going to replace the Auto-Tag from Web feature or are both ...

MediaMonkey 5 plugin for Rainmeter

One of the things I really grew to love when listening to music in the background while doing other stuff, is the NowPlaying plugin for rainmeter to display some basic information about the currently playing track on the taskbar. Unfortunately, that plugin is not (yet) compatible with MediaMonkey 5....

Re: 2075: Advanced Search Filter?

I think you are looking for this button: http://i.imgur.com/0Hh9ZNc.png The one one the right doesn't actually trigger anything, it just brings up (or hides) the filter bar, I'm therefore not sure if I agree that it should reset an active filter. But I believe you bring up a good point. It might not...

2075: Font format for playing songs not updated

Good evening everybody, the track format of now playing tracks isn't properly updated. This might be related to this thread (thanks for fixing that, btw), but this only occurs if multiple songs are started in sequence, and even then only if it happens fairly quick. It's a bit hard to describe what I...
