Re: MM5 external interface

Hi PetrCBR, I fully agree, the new engine is a massive step forward from the old one in MM3/4, no questions here. I wasn't actually talking about that, though - let me rephrase the question. I wrote a .net library , which allows external applications to connect to mediamonkey 5. A sample application...

MM5 external interface

Hi everyone, I'm currently using a rainmeter plugin I quickly hacked together after MM5 alpha builds were released to the public - with emphasis being on "hacked together". It works, but it's painful to look at. Since MM is closing in to a beta release I'm considering to rewrite the plugin, but I'm ...

2110: Window behavior

Hi everyone, congratulations on releasing the latest revision, it's an incredible leap from the previous (public) one, in terms of usability and stability. There is one thing where the new version performs worse than previous revisions, though - the window behavior. Considering that the title bar is...

2089: Exception after fresh installation

Hi everybody, I found an exception which occurs right after installing MediaMonkey. Steps to reproduce: Install MM5. Make sure to choose an empty directory in order not to copy any old settings or files. Launch MM, either directly from the installer or via MediaMonkey.exe When prompted, decline to i...

Re: 2075: ISRC field not available in the list view layout

A little nudge to bring this back into discussion.
Don't get me wrong - I realize that ISRC might not be the most exciting field out there, and if it's no then it's no, but I'd hate to see this functionality remain missing just because it was overlooked.

Artist nodes remain after remove all related tracks [#14421]

After removing all tracks for a given artist from the library, the artist still shows up in the Music > Artists node. To reproduce: Remove all tracks from the library (or at least all tracks for an artist) Run maintain Database with the options Rebuild FTS index, Optimize database and rebuild databa...

getTemporaryCopy parameter count

Hi everybody, it looks like (one of) the latest public revision(s) changed how getTemporaryCopy works. Previously, I could do something like this: var currentTrack = app.player.getCurrentTrack(); var copy = currentTrack.getTemporaryCopy(); Now I'm just getting a wrong parameter count error when tryi...

Re: Request: Import from other MM5 installs

So far, all revisions of MM5 are installed portable, so you can carry over all of your settings and library by copying the 'portable' folder to the new installation directory. This way you keep your old installation while having the same settings and data in the new one. I'm doing this for about hal...

Re: I can't open "options" Log: CC193FAC

Regardless of how long it takes until the next public revision is posted, do you know what kind of settings you need to change? If so, you could try to directly set the correct values in your mm.ini to bypass the options dialog.

Glad to hear it!
I created a few logs, submitted them via the auto-send function and, just to make sure, uploaded them here. Let me know if you need any other information.
