By the way, how does that list get populated, anyway? I use Search a lot, but there were only 2 (unchanging) entries in my list. I didn't knowingly put them there. Items are saved there after you hit the "Enter" key after inputting a search entry. A-ha! I guess wasn't hitting Enter very often, sinc...

Are you talking about the drop down shown under the search box in the Search toolbar? That list can be deleted by editing the MediaMonkey.ini file. This is exactly what I wanted to do: clear the drop-down list from the search box at the top of MediaMonkey (version 3.2). Just to help others who may ...

I agree with the tenor of this discussion. I just ran the Clear Library function as I wanted to rescan my music database after doing a lot of maintenance on the tags. After I Cleared the Library, I realized to my great disappointment that this action deletes my Playlists as well. This was unexpected...
