Thx for the feedback re. what you expect to be deleted--it's in line what other users have told me as well. re. the whether the default for /locations should be remove from db only or remove from DB and filesystem, I tend to disagree with you, however, this is a much less critical issue. re. the 'Cl...

Thank you for your the compliment. Hi,

I've tried reproducing this, but haven't been able to. Can you give me a bit more information?

1) What OS are you running
2) What version of Songs-DB
3) Is the bug consistently reproducible? If yes, can you give me the exact repro-steps? (including reconfiguration from OGG to MP3).

thx.

Hi, Good point--this brings up a question, when you deleted this folder from /Library/Locations/Path/Folder1, what do you think is being deleted: a) The files that appear in the tracklist when folder1 is highlighted b) All of the files in folder1 (even those that don't appear in the tracklist Love t...

Hi, 1. There are 2 ways to do this: a) if you have 'Songs-DB Gold' you can create a new Auto-Playlist with the following query: Field: Played, Condition: >, Value: 0, Sort Order: By Last Played (descending), Limit Results to: 50 b) if you don't have 'Songs-DB Gold' you can uninstall Songs-DB, delete...

Hi there, Just wanted to thank you for the detailed feedback--I was able to replicate both problems based on your latest description. The first bug will definitely need to be resolved in an upcoming beta. The second one is an inconsistency that we'll also have to resolve, though the means of resolvi...

Songs-DB 1.4 Beta 3 (build 506) is Available!!

The beta's are coming fast and furious--beta 3 (build 506 of version 1.4) is ready for testing. Hope you're enjoying them! As with previous betas, keep in mind that this one contains a number of bugs, some of which have not yet been discovered. The beta is being provided for feedback and testing pur...

I like the idea--definitely worth considering, although ultimately this couldn't replace built-in cd-write functionality for many folks.

Jaxjon, I tried to replicate this, but cannot. Can you tell me: -what version of Songs-DB are you using? -is this consistently reproducible with any specific files? -are the duplicate entries both for the .wma file that you created? or is one for the newly created .wma file and the other a file in a...

I'm still having trouble understanding exactly what the problem is. Are you saying that if you have a CD full of OGG files, and click 'Add Tracks to the Library', and select the CD, then the tracks are added incorrectly? (i.e. your problem does not occur when you use audio CDs and a freedb lookup oc...

Both of these issues have been resolved in build 503:
-MP3 headers should now all be correctly interpreted
-Sorting now works as you'd expect (if no track is selected, then sorting by any column shows the track list from the start)

Tim,

Thanks for the feedback. We're tracking the problem, but no guarantees for this release.
