Re: Moving playlist and tag changes from phone to PC

You can try deselecting the folder(s) where the music resides, however if you Sync Playlist back without the files they won't work (which is why it's one setting). My entire library is synced to my phone (54K files) so all of the files in my playlist are already in my server. Thus, your solution ma...

Re: Moving playlist and tag changes from phone to PC

Funny...I came to the board to ask the exact same question. However, I do NOT want to sync "files" back to my PC. I only want to sync playlists from MMA back to MM5. There doesn't seem to be a way of syncing playlists without also having music on my phone (that is not already on the server...

Re: Remote control for MM5

I've been in communication with the MonkeyMote dev and he told me he's working on a new app that will be compatible with MM5.

Re: RC5 crash during wifi sync [#17365]

So far, everything seems to be working. I'm not sure exactly what happened to cause the crash in the first place, but I think you've resolved the issue.

Thank you

Re: Auto playlist difference between mm4 and mm5 [#17365]

I'm not sure I understand. My examples (dropbox links) show title and album and it didn't pull as expected. I will play around with this on 2305 and see if it has been fixed. It seems to have been fixed. It now pulls as intended. I will continue to mess around with it, but here's a tentative THANK Y...

Re: RC5 crash during wifi sync [#17365]

When was 2305 released? I'm seeing the most recent as 2304?

Edit: I see you included the link for 2305. Question....I currently have the regular build installed. If I install this debug build, does it retain all settings?

Re: RC5 crash during wifi sync

And just as I suspected, all of my auto/smart playlists where I set to "select by" SORT ORDER does not pull any tracks at all (and it should be). The other smart playlists that pull by random order DO pull tracks. Since I sync to these smart playlists, it must have crashed the process. Two...

RC5 crash during wifi sync [#17365]

MM5 (RC5) frozen after initiating wifi sync with MMA. I received the following error: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/8w1yfcpmgmls4bemcfya6/mm5-crash-feb-7.docx?dl=0&rlkey=zh7dj5r6qu7a2mlr5o53fzxkj error id number AAA90000 Looking at the error specifics, I'm betting it has to do with any changes ...

Re: Auto playlist difference between mm4 and mm5 [#17365]

I need to bump this up again since it doesn't appear to be solved. Changing the "Selected by_Sort Order" did not fix the issue described above.

Re: Ratings format and location

I'm sorry that I'm just getting back to this. So I opened the files in Mp3tag and the rating is coded in the actual tag. It must be something on the side of Cloudplayer and I'm working with their support team. With that being said, after you officially release MM5, how about working on MMA to allow ...

Re: Ratings format and location

Thanks for the help. There are a few tracks that Cloudplayer is still having issues with in terms of the ratings. I've cleaned Id3v1 and Id3v2 tags and then updated the tracks in question. Cloudplayer is still having difficulty pulling in the ratings. Is it possible for me to see how those ratings a...

Ratings format and location

Hello. After reviewing your matrix showing track properties (http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php/WebHelp:About_Track_Properties/4.0), I still have a question. I'm interested in using CloudPlayer by Doubletwist (for Android) because it seems to be a good player for accessing and playing tracks ...

Updating and cleaning tags process

So I ran files to edit/db and tag mismatches. It came up with a few hundred "mismatches" and the problem fields are highlighted. I read through the wiki where it walks through updating and cleaning tags. How do I know when the db and tags match after cleaning? I highlight the tracks in que...

Other ways to determine Db/Tag Mismatches?

So, in MM5 (RC2), I tried to use the "Files to Edit" node to identify db/Tag mismatches, but it was taking a huge amount of time to process over 7000 folders. It seemed to eventually stop reading (i.e. froze) after about 2000 folders. Is there another way to determine (more efficiently) th...
