Re: Cannot save any layout configurations

You are correct, MM5 was in Touch mode. Changed to Desktop mode and everything works perfectly. Thank you all very much. I look forward to the next build with Grid views.

Re: Cannot save any layout configurations

1) We cannot reproduce, it seems, writing to persistent.json fails for some reason, for me, it always keeps the last selected layout. Does it keep opened view after restarting MM5? Btw. fastest way of hiding player is using menu View -> Player or hotkey (default is Ctrl+Alt+L). 2) you can achieve t...

[SOLVED] Cannot save any layout configurations

I started using Media Monkey 5 with build 2181 and just recently updated to build 2194 and have experienced the same problems. I cannot save any layout/configuration changes at all. Example #1 Every time I open the program, the player is open in the bottom panel. MM4 used to have a little "x&qu...

Re: Ability to choose "Sort Artist," "Sort Song Title," [#9064]

I wondered if there was any update on this? The link you posted to the Ventis Media forum is not viewable by me. I just installed Media Monkey v4.1.23.1881

Thanks.

Re: Ability to choose "Sort Artist," "Sort Song Title," [#90

The ability to filter out prefixes is ONLY available in the "Artist" field. Not any other field at all. Lowlander even confirms that a few posts above. If there was a dropdown list of all the available fields that you wanted to exclude prefix's from that would be a step in the right direct...

"Sort By" Field

Would it be possible to have a "Sort by" field in the properties? The reason for this would be that I have 119 films that have the word "The" at the beginning of the title. Alphabetically this puts them ALL in the "T" section. Also there are films franchises where the t...

Re: Video file conversion on sync

The files video codec settings were already listed as supported formats. So I just went down the line and added EVERYTHING. Still got the error. THen I realized I had only added all possible video settings. Went back and added all the possible audio formats/settings and it worked. So now I just need...

Video file conversion on sync

I have an issue with trying to load video onto my iOS devices through Media Monkey. I can sync audio files (music, audiobooks etc) just fine, but with video its a different story. Most video files that I try to sync begin to convert to mp4 which dramatically slows down the process. The strange thing...
