Multiple Computer Use
For many years, I have had a computer at work and a computer at home, and wanted to use both of them with my MediaMonkey library. We live in a cloud-enabled world now, and I've copied my entire library to Dropbox - which means that now I can play my library in both places, but there are a few puzzle...

Re: Classification page - not a valid integer value
Sorry it took me so long to follow up on this - I sent the debug error report (twice... OOPS!) through the debug version (did not have to go direct to Help Desk). Did not reference this post in my comment, but did include my gmail address. (By the way, since last year the "invalid integer value...

Classification page - not a valid integer value
I've had this problem for some time and not ever reported it... when I pull up the file properties of any file in my library and go to the "Classification" tab, I always get a message that says: "3.5" is not a valid integer value. I click OK and close the box and I can proceed on...

Re: Google Music Beta
As of yesterday, no invite needed. Google Music is out of beta, and they've added an iTunes-ish music store! Tracks bought in the music store can be played through Google Music or downloaded to your computer.

TA-DA!
Here's the answer: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15299
The key is that apparently MediaMonkey uses cdplayer.ini to store info about the CDs it reads. I just deleted a CD from there and it re-read the CD-text. Yay!

New GoGear
The album art does not always synch with the new GoGear... but so far I haven't seen it doing duplicates. It seems like certain album art files don't synchronize correctly... ever. I can copy them over manually, but it would sure be nicer for them to just show up!

For the record... about a week ago my GoGear totally crapped out on me. I had to ship it back for a replacement. Could be that some of the weirdness I've been running into (star ratings not updating properly, album art synch issues) was due to a defective player; I'll post here when I get the new un...

2) Try Steegy 's Favourite Nodes script. Thanks for this! I'm trying it out right this minute. 1) Well if you keep the MDB file on an external drive like I do then you can point both your work MM and your home MM at the same file, therefore removing the need to sync. Problems with that idea are tha...

addendum
I just remembered something else... I've had a playlist or two successfully synchronize, but for the life of me I haven't been able to figure out what made that happen or how to get it to happen again.

synch mdb - favorites - art visible
A few things I'd like to see: At home I have my wife set up on a separate login for our computer so she has a separate copy of the mdb file. In addition, I have a copy at work. I'd love to have a way to synch these multiple copies of the mdb. For example... when I add a new CD to our ripped files at...

GoGear
I have a Philips GoGear 9200, and it synchs quite well. I have posted in a separate topic about a few glitches I've run across.

Phillips GoGear SA9200
I just got a Philips GoGear for my birthday a few weeks back, and I've been having a great time listening to my music on the go. It seems to synch fairly well, with a few glitches: I like the idea of the "synchronize random tracks up to the device's capacity" check box, but what I REALLY w...

Bingo!
YES! That did it! I had change the Virtual CD folder to my "My Music" folder, with the idea that I really wanted all of my MP3s to wind up there. When I changed it to "My Music\VirtualCD" suddenly I could import tracks again! Weird. Might be helpful if that was clearly documented...
