Hmmm.. I presume that the sync is of tracks that live both on Spotify and in MM. Most of the music on this long playlist is older - swing, rags, even radio checks. Recordings from 1920s-30s-40s. Some may never have been released as commercial recordings at all. No idea if they exist on Spotify at al...

Hi,
You have Extension under Other also.
Ahhh - now I see. The column heading is File Type. That's what I was looking for.
Would still like to see this as a sort criteria, that that's a start.
Well, not on my copy of MM ( 5.0.1.2433)
There is an OTHER in the selection criteria. Within this, TYPE selects for things like music, podcasts, etc. Not encoding type.
There is no other in the sort criteria.
File-type (think mp3 or flac) is not available in auto-playlist, either as a selection or sort criteria.

I'm trying to get the playlist result I used to get in MM4. I think I understand the change, but would appreciate a pointer do some documentation. I have a large collection of mostly classical music. I use an auto playlist to randomly select full albums from the larger collection. I want the order o...

thx,
Newly upgraded to MM5 - too much to learn.
I no longer seem to be able to view the track queue in the player. Can't believe that feature is gone, but I can't find it.
Any help appreciated.
Using Win 10, if that matters....

Cloud storage in the free tiers is generally less than most devices have available in storage. Also Play History is maintained when Syncing ...
Just upgraded to MM5. In the past I synced MM with my iPod 64gb. A now ancient device, though still functional. My plan for the future was to instead sync MM to my old iPhone (6) which no longer has a SIM card, and I use only for podcasts and internet radio. Much more storage than the iPod, and it c...
