Re: View Main Menu Bar

Thanks for the reply, but, I am unable to get Altl M to work. Spent at least 5 minutes, maximize, restore, turned off my toolbars etc. After turning off toolbars etc, I can see a flash of the menu. So I started the monkey, positioned cursor where View would be, hit it and toggle on menu bar. So, Bec...

[SOLVED] View Main Menu Bar

I am using the portable version. All the latest, Win 10 etc. If you View- toggle off the main menu bar, there is no way to toggle in back on. I would be more than happy to do a reset, but that does not work on portable http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/151/0/re...

Unified Remote Custom for Milkdrop keys

Did not know where to stick this, this seems as good a place as any. I use the Unified Remote server on a Windows PC with the Monkey and a Custom Remote on my android smartphone. Doc to do this is at https://www.unifiedremote.com/tutorials/how-to-create-a-custom-keyboard-shortcuts-remote Finally, I ...

Re: Create New Device Profiles

Thank you. But I am still confused. But please bear with me. When you connect a device without a profile, how does MM know what it can do with it? With the cheapo device I mentioned in the first post in this series, the first time I tried to send a playlist, it copied over flac files that were not s...

Create New Device Profiles

I still use mp3 players. Inexpensive, don't worry about losing them or having them stolen. Use with a decent 2 speaker and sub woofer system, fantastic. Good for dirty environments, wet environments etc. I got a no name rig off of Newegg and MM was able to create playlists and synch music. Yeah Monk...

Re: I have an existing MM, what happens with Portable Instal

It is going well. Attached the USB to a new computer and It played everything. I did not see my Auto Organize rules changed. I would like to set up auto organize rules for a portable install. Assume that I will move new files to the USB drive with my library and MM on it, to a folder called "ToBeOrg...

Re: I have an existing MM, what happens with Portable Instal

I have an existing MM, what happens with Portable Install

What happens when I do a portable install, if I already have an existing hard disk install? Where is/are the MM files like the MM.DB and the INI file ? Do I have 2 or what? Do I have to install my current extensions and scripts in the portable? What happens to playlists? Who do I get them into the p...

Re: Custom Report

Dear Gary, please look in the media tree under available tracks, under genre, it lists all your genres. Do this: File - Create Reports - Click on Statistics and you will see under total, for library, the count of genres and more details on your top 10 genres. Of course, if you were looking to do a r...

Re: Guide to Re Organizing Music Library with Lots of Playli

thanks. Is this a bug or a feature request? Who do you tell that collections does not show up in search? Well, it does under WebHelp:Playback_Rules If it is about collections, don't you think collections should be in the title. "Isn't it ironic", that the folks doing the help for the best software f...

Re: Guide to Re Organizing Music Library with Lots of Playli

I have a "collection" called Classical Music. I do not know how I got it. A search in help or on the forums does not tell me how to set them up. But it is a cool thing. Is it automatic? Really, I have no clue where it came from. Maybe over 10 years ago, I knew, but I can't figure it out now. Searchi...
