Lock down mediamonkey for listening only, no changes allowed
I have mediamonkey on various computers here on my home network and share one library. I want to install mediamonkey on my daughter’s computer, but I want to make sure she can't accidentally delete or remove a file from the library. I really would like her to be able to listen to the songs only and ...

Re: DBName not pulled over on version changes.
I went from version 3.2.5.1306 to version 4.0.1.1461 and the dbname was missing. I had to add it again and the custom fields where set to defaults had to change those back to. I think my whole ini file was replaced and none of the settings kept. The big problem I have with the ini file is that it is...

DBName not pulled over on version changes.
Why do I have to add the Dbname setting every version change?
Would like to have Dbname saved so I don't have to update the ini file every version change or at least ask for
the database location.

How to fix Strange MP3 Corruption
A year or so ago I started to notice weird noises in some of my MP3's. I finally figured out that when the mp3 would miss up playing. It was playing a small blurb from another mp3. Each of the mp3's that seem to be affected have these blurbs happened once, twice or more times through out the song. I...

Re: Strange sound interruptions during playback
I'm going to try a program call MP3val (http://mp3val.sourceforge.net/) if it works great. If it doesn't fix the files I'll be trying to restore the files manually LOL.

Re: Strange sound interruptions during playback
I'm not sure exactly what caused my MP3's files to be injected with strange noises. I did however listen to some of the songs on different media players, different computers with different OS's and came to the conclusion something defiantly change the song file and add the strange noises. I'm not su...

Strange sound interruptions during playback
Some of my mp3's now have weird sound interruptions through out parts of the song that weren't present before. Some where downloaded years ago and some recently ripped from my cd collection. I only noticed this problem with the 3.2 release. It's like my mp3's are haunted. What would be causing this?

i believe the none skin version uses the windows desktop text. try changing the text you have set in your desktop theme to another font and see if that font is seen in mediamonkey's none skinned mode. 8) I believe the setting for this font is being ignored because I have this same problem on a seco...

OK I failed to add to my original post that this is the non-skinned version I us this on windows me seems to run a lot smoother. I don't have a memory card yet, so I'm only trying to synch to the phones internal memory. Like I said the songs are not being synched to the music folder, but are synched to the root path of the phone, basically the songs are sitting outside the music folder. Also the folder structure is ignored be...

This is the path I setup to synch the songs to \Music\<Album Artist>\<Album>\<Title>. This phone is no stereo but the speaker sounds pretty good if you ask me. I don't plan on using the speaker to play songs, I got head phones for that. This phone also takes a microsd card. The internal memory is sm...
