i re-encoded flac to flac last night after posting here. It didn't take all that long. i did about 100hrs worth of songs give or take. Easiest thing to do is just view all your music and do a shift or ctrl click, select what you want and do a batch re-encode and come back later.

i was able to re-encode using mm and the files play correctly. its a lil time consuming, but worth it.

For me its not an issue of being able to play them in MM. I need them to play correctly in WMP and not freeze. I use Media Center and have the correct setup for it to play but once i ran them through mm the files became "damaged" (at least as far as wmp is concerned)

Well, i thought this program would work perfectly for fixing tags and organizing my music. I use wmp to actually listen to them since I use Media Center. This worked before "fixing" the tags, after MM touched them i now have ERROR_LOST_SYNC errores on every flac file. WMP freezes at start....
