Re: "Searching..." notification: Log ID C6EK2YH3X

I'm having this problem too, note 9 android 9. Searching... Pops up in notifications regularly, regardless of whether music is playing or not. It seems to use battery although not a ton. Overnight my battery went from 100% to 92%, with the phone untouched. Previously it would get to maybe 97% overni...

Problem with Properties field color after update

Hi all, I wasn't sure if I should put this here or in the addons section but I think here makes more sense. Anyway I've been using the "Vision" skin for ages now. It's mostly black with white text. Up until the latest MM update it was fine but when I updated a couple weeks ago, the BG colo...

Re: Upgraded to 4.1.12.1798 - can no longer sync any device

So I downgraded to 4.1.11, and it's back to working. But there's a new update for MMW and MMA since (4.1.13 for MMW) so was this fixed? Anyone know?

Re: Upgraded to 4.1.12.1798 - can no longer sync any device

I have the same problem since the latest update. Everything was fine until the new MMW update, and no settings were changed, but now when I click 'auto sync' i get the "preparing list of files' message and then it goes away, and nothing. I tried adding and deleting tracks from my playlists, and...

Swapping SD Cards

Hey all. Been using MMA and MMW(g) for quite some time now. I keep my music on the external SD card of my Note 4 (Lollipop). Everything works perfectly, unless I need to swap out my SD card temporarily. For example I use a Gear VR and have an SD card with all the apps and movies etc for it. Even if ...

Re: No media showing - but can see playlists

Right, the now playing list. Reagrdless interesting that it isn't also emptied.

Bad news is I did a sync last night and my playlists are STILL empty. It didn't sync any tracks but did copy the playlists again, but no luck.

I also did a force rescan, but still empty. This is a bummer.

Re: No media showing - but can see playlists

Well today I updated to the latest MMA and now I'm in the same situation: it rebuilt the database, then my all but 1 of my playlists read 'empty' and there is no media. Funny thing is, MMA was PLAYING one of those playlists when the rebuild happened, and it is still playing it now, even though the p...

Re: No media showing - but can see playlists

I can say that this was a whole new problem for me. I've had playlists that read "empty" instead of a number before, but never had them still say the right number but then be blank and crash the app when I try to open them. Same thing happened when I tried "artists" or "albu...

Re: No media showing - but can see playlists

Interesting indeed -- I didn't have to sync for everything to work again. I have since done a sync and still all good.

Glad it's working though!

Re: No media showing - but can see playlists

Happy to report: Today there was an update in the play store. I installed it, ran it, and MMA did a "rebuilding database" which took a few minutes and then everything was back to normal!

No media showing - but can see playlists

Hi all. Using the latest version of MMA (beta), I had a weird new problem this morning. Everything was fine last night, and I was listening to music. My battery did die while I was listening to a podcast, but I use BeyondPod for that. MediaMonkey was not playing when my battery died and phone shut d...

Re: Empty Playlists after reboot (Galaxy Note 2) [#11298]

Thanks for the replies. I will send a log if/when it happens again. I'm thinking more and more that my SD card is to blame, although MMA is the only problem I seem to have. Could just be bad luck with other things happening. Maybe my fresh install (and upgrade to 4.3) will fix things? If not I'll tr...

Re: Empty Playlists after reboot (Galaxy Note 2) [#11298]

Right - and the internal memory seems to be available right away unlike the SD card - I'm pretty sure the fact that I'm using external was what was causing the problem originally as well.

It takes nearly a full 60 seconds for the card to be ready once my home screen shows up on boot.

Re: Empty Playlists after reboot (Galaxy Note 2) [#11298]

That's what I mean though - It says "now playing" before my SD card is finished... doing whatever it does at startup. There is a notification icon that says it is 'checking' the sd card, and then a few programs (like beyondpod for podcasts) load their things from it - but the MMA widget sa...

Re: Empty Playlists after reboot (Galaxy Note 2) [#11298]

So I'm back. Everything was great since my last install. Now I have empty playlists again. I think it has to do with the homescreen widget (4x1). I used to use it all the time, then I stopped. I didn't use it at all after my last clean install... until the other day. 1 reboot and everything was ok. ...
