Re: Best practice for multi-user content management
Thanks Z! Here is the next question tho, is how can I add a drive to my library without having my auto-organize rules from the "C" drive apply? To be clear, I am trying to add a directory in "H" to my library (As a new collection) but I do not want it to cross-pollinate with my &...

Re: Best practice for multi-user content management
Lets say I want to have a collection based on a different drive letter or, a different directory vs. c/users/mymusic... how would I do that? I have a main collection of about 48K files and I do not want to affect that in anyway. I would like to add a second collection as sort of a playground or sand...

Re: 1 MediaMonkey and multiple directories
I added this later...
Also, can each collection have its own auto organize rules? Or, are those rules over the entire program vs. collection by collection?
Thanks.
BTW you seem incredibly patient and I appreciate you helping me do this.

Re: 1 MediaMonkey and multiple directories
File > Manage Collections and use Path as Criteria to your separate Libraries. You wouldnt happen to know if there is a blub somewhere describing best practices with using collections would you?? Or something in the wiki? Also, can each collection have its own auto organize rules? Or, are those rul...

Control whats played on UPnP device via my PC?
Hey guys is it possible to "drive" what's played on my UPnP device (In this case an Amazon Fire TV) as I stream MM from my pc... from my pc? Or, better said, to "drive" from my pc but have it still broadcast to the UPnP?
Thanks!
Also, apologies if this has been covered before.

Re: 1 MediaMonkey and multiple directories
Is it possible to set up a second library? That might be the answer to my question... If so can anyone point me to how? To create a new node so to speak? Have 2 concurrent libraries at the same time, be able to access them both and take from one to add to the other? I have a main library that is abo...

Re: 1 MediaMonkey and multiple directories
Seems complicated...
Am I better off just combining the directories?
Or,
Can you please break down what youre saying a bit further?

1 MediaMonkey and multiple directories
If I want to have MMonkey pull from multiple directories but not MOVE the files... how would I do that?
I have 3 directories that I want it to pull from but I dont want it to move any of the files. I am hoping I can set up an instance to do this?
Thanks!

Hey guys... I am currently (yes again if you follow this thread) running thru my library and getting all the song titles capitalized. I think the shortcut preset is #235. I want to add some exceptions though... for example: "CD", "iTunes" and "DJ" can anyone tell me how...

Re: Hide duplicate album art
There is a node option to see album art not stored in tags that way you can see those albums and save them to the tag vs. a link to the .jpg file.

If it ever gets implemented maybe would be nice to have an option of selecting the option per column.

Re: SOME album art isnt syncing to iPod touch
Well it worked!!!
For those who do a search for album art not syncing to iPod Touch... Delete the songs on your iPT thru MMonkey. Then just re-sync them.
Voila artwork! On ALLLLLLLLLL the songs!
Thanks!
