Re: Chromecast Audio for DEsktop App
I am confused. What I would like to achieve is to play to Chromecast audio using MediaMonkey on Windows. Currently I am running MM Gold version 4.1.17. But I do not see an option to play to choose chromecast audio as a player. Is it supposed to be available now? I can play through audio-cast.exe, bu...

Re: Volume Leveling for DLNA Renderer
Ok, so in whether the ReplayGain tag is used to adjust volume depends on the DLNA Renderer?Lowlander wrote:Analyze Volume just modifies the tag with the volume offset. This is then used by the Player to adjust the Volume, however this only works if the Player supports this.

Re: Volume Leveling for DLNA Renderer
Auto-Conversion tab of the media server has the volume leveling option. If you want FLAC files to be send leveled you'll need to have them converted to a format that support this like MP3. FLAC is lossless (ie. same as source) and volume leveling alters the audio and thus isn't supported. I do not ...

Re: Volume Leveling for DLNA Renderer
Thanks for the reply Lowlander, but I'm not sure I get it. Volume Leveling for DLNA streaming from MediaMonkey is a separate setting in the Media Server settings (Tools > Options > Media Sharing). I have enabled sharing of my MediaMonkey library but I don't see a setting for Volume Leveling there. T...

Volume Leveling for DLNA Renderer
Hello, I have a mixed collection of MP3 and FLAC files. I have configured MM to use a UPnP/DLNA Renderer as player. This player is a WiDAC ( http://www.crystalaudiovideo.com/ProductDetails/WiDAC.aspx ). In the MM options for Volume Leveling I have checked all options except 'Automatically analyze vo...

Re: Selective crossfading
Try: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26835&hilit=crossfade Thanks for the tip, but I had already found that thread and I think it does not apply to what I am looking for. Whether I want to crossfade or not does not depend on subsequent tracks belonging to the same album...

Selective crossfading
I want to use MM for playing music at a party. I have got a playlist ready and I intend to play it with crossfading enabled. However, some track transitions should not be crossfaded, for example if there is a special ending or beginning of a track. So I wonder if any of the two alternatives below ar...
