Yes, removing accents fixes it. But I don't consider this to be a good solution... just confirms where the problem lies.

Thanks for the replies. No, there isn't any protection (they're MP3s) and they don't seem to be otherwise corrupted. Cleaning and rewriting tags doesn't work either. BUT I realized that all the fields with this problem have non-english characters (accents á,é,í,ó,ú or ñ), so it must be related to th...

Bug in MM or file? some files' tags not updated
A few of my MP3 files don't get their tags changed no matter what I do with MM. I have activated the option to update tags immediately, but after editing their properties, tags still don't change (this only happens for 38 of my mp3 files). I've also tried synchronizing tags and changing the ID versi...

Bug or feature? Moving back while in shuffle mode
Hi,
Pressing the back (<---) button in the player while the shuffle is on goes to the previous track in the Now Playing list. This isn't intuitive or useful. It seems to me that it should go to the previously played track.
Regards,
Pablo

I'm not sure I understand your situation, but this is how I updated my 2.2.712 default.po file to 2.2.715: I downloaded the new version, opened my (OLD) default.po file, went to Catalog -> Update from POT file and I selected the (NEW) default.pot file. There were some fuzzy terms: exactly those that...

Also the scripts...
Also anything related to scripts is in English. Since scripts aren't part of the translation framework I'm not sure if this can be easily solved... there seems to be an esier part (changing the DisplayName entries in the script.ini file) and a harder part (looking inside the scripts themselves). MM 2.2 Alpha 2 - No tooltips in menus
Hi, This is my last bug of the day. Since nobody mentioned this before, it's probably only me :-? , but it doesn't happen in my MM 2.1: I don't see any menu tooltips. I do see other tooltips, for instance toolbar icons tooltips. I've uninstalled and reinstalled MM 2.2 Alpha 2 and the problem remains...

A few things that didn't get translated
I'm done with the translation of the default and DB files and still see some english text: * In some of the clasiffication drop-down lists (tempo and quality) I see a "none" (in English) option. I had to translate this word but in the default.po file, not in the db.po which is used for the...

I am using the MAD plug-in. I had it configured to show the average bitrate, and 32 is clearly a wrong value. When I configure the plug-in to show the current bitrate it shows the right numbers (which never drop as low as 32). When I configure it again to show the average, it shows the right value (...

MM2 Alpha 2 - Wrong bitrate for VBR MP3s
When playing VBR MP3s, the player sometimes shows a bitrate of 32kbps (while the real value is around 160). This happens with some, not all, of the tracks. It looks like 32 is a default value, because when it does compute it right, it still shows 32 for a fraction of a second.

Thanks for the reply. There are several Spanish translations of v. 4.1.4 available. On a related note, are you thinking of translating the web page where you can buy the Gold version? From a practical point of view, translating the setup and buying procedures is as important as the program itself (m...
