After Moving MM: No Scrobbling
I recently had to move MM to a new computer, and the new install finds my music, database, .ini-file and scripts just fine. But one problem is that MM will not scrobble. It shows that scrobbbling is enabled (see screenshot below), yet it doesn't scrobble. The Last.fm login info is verified to be cor...

Re: Feature Request | AutoRating
I second this request, it is the one missing addon that prevents me from upgrading to MM5!

Re: Last.fm stops scrobbling after stopping/resuming later
I upgraded from the beta (forget which version, but should not be relevant) to 4.0.1. today. The beta version had no problems with scrobbling, but now I also experience this behavior. I decided to test it: 1. Played some tracks and made sure they scrobbled OK. 2. Paused the music for about 5 minutes...

Re: Risk involved in switching to the beta?
Thanks, Lowlander, I think I'll try it out. Just to make sure, this is the recommended procedure, right? Make a backup of the MM3 database Install the latest MM4 Beta. Question: do I need to use regular install to have it upgrade my current MM3 database to 4 (It didn't for the portable)? After all, ...

Risk involved in switching to the beta?
I normally don't use beta versions, but I really needed the UPNP streaming feature, so much so that I considered other software (sacrilege, I know! ) before discovering that MM4 has it. I did a quick test with a portable install of the beta, and the UPNP streaming indeed does work as I want i...

Re: Ipod+Last.fm
Happy to hear it!
Actually, I would have put in an autorun.inf myself if it weren't such a common target for viruses to infect and spread with.

Re: Ipod+Last.fm
Whoa. This sounds fantastic! Is it a simple matter of copying the qtscrob.exe file over to my iPod classic using (for example) Windows Explorer? Do I need to be mindful of where I save it (should I drop it in the iPod drive's root directory?), or may I save it anyplace I wish? I'm very eager to try...

Re: Last.fm Playcount Import [MM3]
Hi, I was not able to reproduce the error with that one track, but have in the mean time found a couple of other tracks with too high counts. I know that doesn't help you identify whether there is an error in the script and if so what to do about it - I just wanted to let you know so I didn't just l...

Re: Last.fm Playcount Import [MM3]
I run the import script about once a week to get plays scrobbled to Last.fm from other sources (XBMC, AudioSurf etc) into MM, but recently I have noticed tracks getting too high play counts! I haven't been checking the log file nor paid that close attention, but sometimes I just notice that a song h...

He he, that is easy!
I guess all the code that was in the first box by default was the confusing part.
Because of that code, I failed to realize that it was a simple search and replace type interface.
Now it all works perfectly! Thanks so much for this invaluable addon!

Re: Export M3U/Playlists for Child Nodes 3.3 (2010-07-13)[MM
Hello, This tool seems quite powerful and flexible, but unfortunately, the options are a bit complex and I am no programmer so I don't understand what "regular expressions" are. Let me describe what I want to achieve: I have MM on a laptop, with music organized in an /Artist/Album/Song.mp3...

Re: Sync playlists to XBMC
Thanks, Lowlander!
I have looked at it and it looks quite powerful (and complicated ) - I'll play around with it when I get on my home network with the laptop (at work now).

Sync playlists to XBMC
I have searched the forums and I don't think this has been covered elsewhere - sorry if I missed the appropriate thread! I am a long time MM user and have built a substantial library and playlist system in it over the years. The library and the music is currently on my laptop. Now I'd like to listen...
