It worked this afternoon but now it hangs for a while, then gives me the error message.

I have music stored on a WD My Passport Ultra 2 tb drive. I recently bought a new laptop and had to reinstall MediaMonkey and the database. Now whenever I open MediaMonkey, it wants to sync the external drive as a device and tries scanning it forever.

I can confirm the same thing -- no album art is displayed since yesterday. I'm using the most recent version, 4.52.
