Ah you mean I need to add files when MM5 is running? That's a pain but does explain things. I say it's a pain because I use MM4 magic nodes to help me tag new additions, but I guess I can do all of that and then use MM5 to move the files into my main drive.

I was wondering why new additions to my files were not appearing adn it seems like continuous scan doesn't pick anything up. I need to use scan on start up which is a pain if the folder I add is near the end of the alphabet! I'm on MM5 5.0.3.2627.

This is very odd. It's been doing it again on and off. I can see the media server address in the UPNP menu 192.168.1.105 which is the squeezebox. I can play to both SBs via the Logitech Media Server but cannot play to either via Media Monkey. But I can play to my TV which is also on my home network....

Thanks, I'll do that. Although I'm starting to suspect it's a Logitech media server issue and not MM4.

I've just purchased a new machine. I've installed MM again and I want to find the best way to reinstall my database and all the subsequent information (play count etc) rather than just scan 100,000+ files.

I've always had problems with Trixmoto's backup extension.
