Re: MediaMonkey for Android - file handling (basics?)
I am a long time user of MediaMonkey on my PC. Love it! I recently adopted a Motorola XOOM tablet, running Android 4.1.2 and I would like to use mediamonkey as my media player. I am very experienced in manually moving files around and modifying file properties to organize my thousands of files on m...

Re: Wont save playlists [#12962]
I am aware that the WiFi sync is supposed to work properly. Unfortunately, I am not using WiFi sync which I understand is only fully available using MMA Pro or if I purchase the Wifi Sync package...my trial period has expired. I've won't upgrade to MM Pro until MMA becomes more stable. Wifi sync is...

Re: trouble with downloads
Just playing some file won't add it to the library.
You have to add files via Add/rescan menu under "File".

Re: Gold and Support problems
Usually the issue with invalid license key is pairing it with an incorrect user name.

Re: Importing Playlist Question
Just a generic question. In my music library I have dozens and dozens of Imported Playlists that always come up when I search for my playlists. Not sure if this is a partly cause I also have iTunes (although I dont really use it, but like how it organizes some music for playlist copy over into MM)....

Re: better to re-rip than convert from WMA to FLAC?

Re: Ripping error: Access is denied
Hello again, and thank you once more for your patient reply. I did as you suggested, and gave MM a new temp directory at C:\Documents and Settings\MediaMonkeyTemp\ I tried ripping a cd once more, and it took forever to do the first part (analyse volume, I think it says), but then ... the same error...

Re: ID3v2.4
Many mp3 players don't read ID3v2.4 tags, but pretty much everything can understand ID3v2.3. This may have been true in 2008, but today, seven years later, no modern player has troubles with ID3v2.4. Maybe some outdated ones still ignore that format, but that's why the are outdated. No modern playe...

Re: ID3v2.4
Just think of it - I started this thread in 2008 and still no progress! The ID3v2.4 is still regarded as too - what exactly? Exotic? New? Strange? Unusual?? Well, seems that MM will stay behind forever... MM reads ID3v2.4 tags but doesn't write them. Many mp3 players don't read ID3v2.4 tags, ...

It depends on the type of video files. Actual files are not always updated.

Re: UPnP.dll is not compatible
No, this is a more serious issue. My guess is that MM uses the UPnP.dll file from the older version.Question is why it will not install the new UPnP.dll... Tnx for your reply though. Gr, Kurt Are you using the MM service? If so Upnp.dll is loaded in memory and so the file can't be replaced while in...
