I have 3 tracks that show up as dead but they point to a folder/file and the file/folder is there... and the file is not corrupt because I can drag and drop it in the MM player and it plays.

So MM says they are dead but they are certainly not dead or corrupt.

Fortunately its 3 out of 7600+

You are correct - DJ is the player. Ir requires MusicMatch for the interface to the player - but maybe exporting playlists is the way to go.

MMatch corrputs my file tags (and occasionally my files).

Any pointers to any web sites with potential scripts?

I really wish I could use this software with my Dell DJ.

MusicMatch is a disaster on greased wheels.
