Re: Auto-Organize Set Destination Wizard: "Sample" view fail
The Set Destination Wizard also exhibits that behavior in when it's used in Options > Library > Auto-Organize, which doesn't have a preview window.

Re: Preset manager for Auto-Organize
Renewing this request. You can already define preset Auto-Organize rules in Options > Library > Auto-Organize -- just allow us to pick from those rules in the Auto-Organize Files dialog.

Re: bit rate/bit perfect
Lossless audio formats aren't "close to" bit-perfect, they are bit-perfect -- that's what lossless means. There's no reason not to use lossy encoding if you're satisfied with the result. But there are many good reasons to want bit-perfect copies -- such as if you want to preserve HDCD enco...

Auto-Organize Set Destination Wizard: "Sample" view fails
In 3.2.4.1304, the following Auto-Organize "Destination:" rule works properly for organizing the files, but previews incorrectly in the Set Destination Wizard's "Sample:" display : M:\(Library)\audio\music\$if(,NO GROUPING,)$if(<Album Artist>=Various,VA\$if(<Sort Album Title>,<So...

Options>Library>Auto-Organize vs. Auto-Organize Files
When I select tracks that match one of the Auto-Organize rules (Options > Library > Auto-Organize) and run a manual "Auto-Organize Files", the pre-configured rules aren't applied and don't appear to be available even as an option. Is there a way to manually trigger the pre-configured Auto-...

Re: Support for TSOA, TSOP and TSOT tags
I gave up on using MediaMonkey to sync to my iPod when I got an iPod Touch. I have to use iTunes to sync everything else (especially apps and making backups of my data), so there's really no reason not to use it to sync my music too. MediaMonkey is still a great library manager, I just wish it would...

Re: Support for TSOA, TSOP and TSOT tags
TSOA = Sort Order - Album Title TSOP = Sort Order - (Track) Performer TSOT = Sort Order - Track Title TSO2 = Sort Order - (Album) Performer [Apple-specific] People have been requesting the ability to edit these tags in MediaMonkey for years , to no avail. Therefore, those of us who want everything t...

Preset manager for Auto-Organize
I'd like to be able to save Auto-Organize presets with a name, then select and run them later on. The main mask I use is getting way, WAY out of hand in terms of size (800+ characters) and debuggability (one missed paren means lots of time wasted finding the problem)...but the dropdown isn't a great...

Re: Annoying Amazon link in tags with new version of MM
Right-clicking the shortcut throws up a list of places you can run the search, including Google or Wikipedia, or lets you open the Library's artist node for the track's artist. You can also change the default. (It'd be cool if we could configure our own search targets using Auto-Organize syntax... e...

Re: Tagging track #'s now missing
bells4me, there are two possible reasons your process stopped working: the names of the ripped files were changed somehow, or you accidentally selected a different setting in the dropdown list for "Filename Format:" in Auto-Tag From Filename. Try your process again, but when you get to Aut...

"Compatibility with new iPods" sticky in this forum
Any chance this sticky message can be updated? It doesn't mention the v2 Touch/iPhone issue, and still claims that MM can't sync with the Classic or 3rd gen Nano (which might discouraging people with those models from downloading the software to try it out).

I agree that MM ought to support these frames. I hate the hackish workarounds that you have to use to get correct sorting behavior...

Re: More on the iPod "compilation" flag
My preferred solution would be to have an explicit "Compilation" value for each track in the library, with values of Yes, No or Unknown, then let users configure whether or not to read/write that information from/to the TCMP frame and/or a MediaMonkey specific TXXX Compilation frame. When ...
