Re: Migrate m3u to New PC, different Drive
I do see a massive Search/Replace seems to work.. But, I suspect that moving around within the MM GUI, these lists are not going to be preserved like when the MM dB is working with things. *.m3u Files Search : [MUSIC] Replace : X: Takes > [MUSIC]\_musicNAME\..myFiles\.. To > X:\_musicNAME\..myFiles\..

Migrate m3u to New PC, different Drive
I have exported *.m3u from MM5 from old PC - Drive L. > L:\_musicNAME All my music files on the new computer are on a different Drive letter, but otherwise the file structure is exactly the same. I just need the *.m3u files to import to MM5 on the new computer correctly. As is, when they are scanned...

Finally updated to MM5, Comments
Nice job, seems to work fine on my Win7 Pro .. > somewhere I thought I saw it was for win 10 + > Any reason I shouldn't be using this on my antiquated Win7 Pro? I found my way around everything in a few hours. It's slick, with all the functionality of MM4 and then some nice new features. Like the Pi...

mmAndroid (v9) unable to play mp4 videos
mmAndroid syncs a video playlist I have from mmWin
But, mmA doesn't play them, they just seem frozen
The *.mp4 files play fine from the DIR on VLC
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Playlist Says - No Files In This Folder
Btw, for future reference if anyone lands on this forum post
Best Answer,
Just use the MM for Win Server & set up a sync to your Android
That does it all, automatically, painlessly

Re: Playlist Says - No Files In This Folder
Nevermind, I somehow accidentally deleted the *.mp3s in that DIR
Everything works, just had to get used to the app

Re: Playlist Says - No Files In This Folder
Hmmm, seems kinda buggy. > Folders > Navigate to DIR, hold to check > use ADD to DB icon > mma says added ** But, doesn't show up in "Library" Go to > Options > Choose Library Folders > The "Music" Folder added is there, but still not in Library I tried uninstalling/installing, e...

Re: Playlist Says - No Files In This Folder
Thanks for response
Ahh, just not very intuitive, or I probably just needed to read FAQ
Process
> Folders
> Hold DIR of choice until checked
> use ADD to dB icon
MM Win user for probably 20+ years
I guess I should just break down and work with the sync
Thanks again

Re: Can You Move Files Without Breaking Play List Link
The Files to Edit > Dead Links subnode will show the unavailable files and you can remove from there. Does this just remove the Play List's dead links. It doesn't remove the actual files does it I could experiment, but better just to ask if someone knows * Nevermind, brain fart. The files have alre...

Ahhh. Yes. That's what I was looking for. Yes, I have monitoring turned on.Lowlander wrote:If you have Folder Monitoring (gold feature) enabled it will do it as files are removed and MediaMonkey is running.
It did seem like the dead links were adjusting automatically
Just wanted to check that out

Can You Move Files Without Breaking Play List Link
Can I move a bunch of files around (within the MM GUI only) and not break any of the Play List reference to those songs ? I did some experimenting around and it seems that you can. Do I have it correct ? On another note, let's say that I have removed a bunch of files from my Library manually (outsid...

Art Work Not Showing in (Art&Details) Panel..
If your art is not showing up then make sure first that you have it enabled. Right Click the Art in your Art & Description Panel From the context menu, make sure you have an Image 01 (Image 02, Image 03, etc.) selected If they are deselected, then the art doesn't show up This seems quite obvious...

Any Addon to Search through entire Playlist ?
Trying to search through entire play lists (not playing now list) .. want to find all instances of a title, artist, etc., so that I can remove those instances from Playlists only, not from library. I don't want the library modified, just removal from all play list references .. Looked at Jump to fil...
