Maybe not the entire duration, or when that screenshot was taken but for a lot of it, yeah, both unchecked.
Thanks for the tips re: a complete uninstall, just did that, then will reinstall and try File > Maintain Library w/ complete optimization

Re: How to get MM to remember my location settings
They have been unchecked for the duration of this problem. I don't know what is causing MM, even after a full un&reinstall, to keep adding J and to prevent me from removing it. MMM becomes completely unresponsive once I begin trying to complete the steps I have described (remove, Add/Rescan). I ...

Re: How to get MM to remember my location settings
Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean. I do know how to remove it but don't see any options to stop it (it being the Musiques folder in the J drive) from being readded. I got so annoyed with this issue that I un/reinstalled MM in the hopes I could start again and only select that single L driv...

Re: How to get MM to remember my location settings
Right, but every time I right-click on My Passport: J under the Entire Library>Location tree and choose Remove and Yes for the Confirm menu, MM adds it right back. Plus MM becomes unresponsive for about a minute.

Re: How to get MM to remember my location settings
good idea re: screenshots Here you go The problem is that I keep unchecking My Passport J: and all the folders others than Current Musiques in L: but MM keeps rechecking them. Very irritating. And even after I uncheck My Passport J: drive, it still remains in the file tree https://www.flickr.com/pho...

Re: How to get MM to remember my location settings
Also, the latest version of MM gold is freezing up constantly, and is very very sluggish. Wonder if that has anything to do with it maybe choking on scanning 400,000+ files over these two hard drives.

How to get MM to remember my location settings
I am trying to get MM to remember my media library folder settings, to no avail. Maybe I'm going about it wrong. In File>Add rescan files I uncheck everything but the one folder I want to use, then click OK. When I reopen the Add/Rescan folders window, I notice that MM has rechecked ALL the folders ...

Why does Auto synchronizing of tracks never work with ipods?
In all the gold versions of MM I have had, on all teh Windows OSs, on all the ipods, and on all the different computers I've bought or built, the Auto-Sync/ Sync random subset of selected files up to device capacity has NEVER worked. MM just remains in the "Synchronizing iPod (Preparing list of...

Re: Silence Between Songs v3.0 [MM3] updated 2010-12-26
Just installed v3.0 in 4.0.7.1511 MM pro. I followed the directions and this too o prevent songs from ending prematurely, disable "Remove silence" in MM Output plugin: - Tools > Options > Player > Output Plugins -> MediaMonkey DirectSound output > Configure - Disable: [ ] "Remove sile...

Anyway to increase the length of gap time in between tracks?
I find it really jarring when the next tune starts immediately after the prior one. It doesn't give the ear any time to process the end of the first one.
I have disabled Crossfading. I'd like to add maybe 2-3 seconds.

Question about the Send To command
I just lost a 3,000 song playlist for the 2nd time(!). I chose Send To... > then selected my iPod. Media Monkey froze after about two minutes (the hourglass icon present), and I had to Ctrl+Alt+Delete and then close it from Windows 7 Task Manager. When I restarted MM, my playlist still appeared in t...

Is it possible to recover a deleted playlist?
I created a playlist in MM then saved it to my ipod. Because I couldn't add new songs to the playlist once it was on my ipod, I (thought that I) recopied the tracks in the playlist on my ipod back into my MM collection in a new playlist. All the titles appeared. I then deleted the playlist from my i...
