Re: Server progress

A docker image would really be key here, bringing all of the dependencies together into a simple docker pull to bring up a MediaMonkey server.

Log viewer addon?

Is there an add-on that will list and view (in text) files with a .LOG extension (or .NFO extension) in a folder? IE: Something I could take a look and see the ripping log of a CD I ripped or the release info of a download? I'm thinking right click on an MP3 or a folder and be able to view any log f...

Re: Sync to iPod with add cover to tags results in cut off M

Okay so here's what I have. I was incorrect that it was FLACs, but is actually MP3s (and quite a few of them). iPod model: iPod 5th Gen (with Video) 60GB Model A1136 Upgraded to 4.1.9.1764_debug for this testing iTunes unchanged The source MP3 plays fine on the computer (and on other devices). The d...

Re: Auto-Organize Mask Addition for bit-rate

Largely what I want to get out of it is: [FLAC-24] (bitrate of 96000/channel) [FLAC] (other) [MP3-320] (or 192/etc) [MP3-VBR] (sadly there's no reliable way to detect V0/V2, but maybe the average bitrate could be used the same as the CBR bitrate) $If(<Extension>=MP3,$If(<VBR>=No,MP3-<Bitrate>,MP3-VB...

Hide duplicate album art

Right now if I have folder.jpg in the folder and the identical image stored in the tags, it shows me two "Cover (Front)" in the properties- one stating it is from the tag and one on the image. MM should consolidated/collapse these into one (indicating it is in both) to avoid displaying it ...

Sync to iPod with add cover to tags results in cut off MP3s

I have FLACs in my MediaMonkey library. When I sync them to my iPod with the add-covers-to-tags feature enabled, the music cuts off while playing prior to the end of the song. Turning this feature off results in a clean ending to the song when played on the iPOD. Given that MediaMonkey isn't throwin...

Auto-Organize Mask Addition for bit-rate

I'm looking for a few additions to the auto-organize mask and I'm curious if they exist and maybe aren't documented. I'd like to be able to denote the 24-bit FLAC from the normal FLACs in the folder name (as I might carry both editions). 24-bit FLACs seem to have a sample rate of 96,000Hz (x2 channe...

Re: Mediamonkey or iPhone/ipad

I doubt that very much. Most features (ratings, playcount sync, playlists) are already fully supported with the built in music app. Only thing really worth doing it for would be the wifi sync, but that is not allowed via the apple API. I don't think I understand. You're saying you can view your ent...

Home Sharing

If someone would make home sharing work as a server, that would be just awesome.

The advantage? Click "other libraries" in the native iPhone/iPad music app and see your whole library.
Yes of course it would be nice if it supported DNLA, but it doesn't.

Re: MM Cloud

This thread is a little bit ridiculous. Clouds generally ---------------- - Storing data in the cloud is a great way to access the same data from anywhere - Backups go to the cloud and end up in long-term archived storage - Clouds are useful for small items where sharing is crucial (documents, photo...

PDF (Books) support

iOS5 is being implemented as we speak, which is exciting news. Music, Video, and Audiobooks are Mediamonkey's forte and something we all have libraries of. Apps were never that important for MediaMonkey because: a) it's device specific b) it's all purchased on the device or in the program c) nobody ...
