Re: Syncing artwork on mobile not working (sync from desktop possible)?
Between my car and MMA I find album artwork incredibly finicky. For it to show up correctly in my car the art can't be larger than 500x500 and must be attached to the audio file. MM doesn't directly attach the file, I think, but seems to link to a file in the same folder. But that has nothing to do ...

Re: Ford SYNC missing songs
Hi, MM changes the date from 1970 to 1970; 1970 (when I look at the file properties in Windows). This appears in mp3tag as 1970\\1970. I don't currently believe this is an issue for me personally, but seem like something MM shouldn't be doing. Nothing is wrong with MM simply for years there was sta...

Re: Ford SYNC missing songs
Can you pleae get few track samples that do not work after MM tag edit and same tracks that work after mp3tag corrections, I wonder if it the issue with tagging standard and/or something that MM do. Note: I seen both cases that creates incompatibility, it was fixed number of times, but if we find a...

Re: Ford SYNC missing songs
Well, this seems to be a tagging issue. (EDIT: See post 24 below. The following is no longer accurate but I'm leaving it due to the continued discussion) I've opened some of the tracks in mp3tag and noticed things in the tag that MM does not show the same. Some track numbers as 1/10 and some Year ta...

Ford SYNC missing songs
Don't have a lot of hope on a resolution but thought I'd give it a shot. I'm using a USB drive to play music in my Ford with Sync. All in all it works well. However, I recently added an album and tried to find it and, despite it being on the USB drive, it was not indexed by SYNC. I tried several thi...

Re: Artist sub-nodes?
My .02: I'm with the OP here. I went to add some new music and got the notification. After backing up my db I ran the install to a new directory. The first thing I did was click Artist and was surprised that it then listed every single artist in graphic format. I have a couple hundred thousand track...

Re: Playlist in Main Window 2.0.0 (2012-08-05)
Thanks for this. One minor issue I always had a problem with was accidentally adding multiple versions of the same song in a playlist. Like when you have the original release of an album, the 25th anniversary remaster, then a greatest hits collection, etc. There's no quick, visual way to determine i...

Re: Adding a track to multiple playlists at once
Ok. Thanks for the help!
My playlists are often mutating so using tags like that is probably more work than sending the same song to a few different playlists.

Re: Help with NAS library address
I have a Diskstation. You need to point it to where you have the database file located, and have it's name in the path. This is the format I use: In the [SYSTEM] section of the .ini file I have: DBName=\\diskstation\music\MMDatabase\MM.DB I would imagine you would use something like: DBName=\\wdmycl...

Adding a track to multiple playlists at once
I'm sure this is something that's been asked before but I can't anything that fits my situation. Let's say I get a new song I love. I will want to add it to multiple playlists. For example, a playlist of new tracks I've added, a playlist of good driving songs, a playlist dedicated to favorite songs ...

Re: iPod Nano 6th Gen Not Synching
Well... crap. I just finished writing a big long post because I couldn't get our new Nano 6g to work. (files would load but the iPod didn't recognize anything was on it). Latest version of MM and iTunes. Before posting I thought I would just wipe the iPod and restore it via iTunes. And whaddaya know...

Re: MM Doesn't recognize CDs (Was: Rip CD - Access violation
i suggest it is an hardware issue with the cd drives you have that is causing the trouble. Nah. That can't be it. I thought it was as well so I replaced the drive but I still have the problem. I'm thinking there's some problem with the hpcdburn.dll as, when the debug version is installed, that's wh...

Re: Transfer from computer to computer
I'm no expert but I have moved my monkey around between work and home. Just dump your music library folders to an external HDD, and the MM.DB file which contains your database. That's really all you need. You can install MM and tell it to point to your old MM.DB file. You can even leave the MM.DB fi...
