Possible to "Never Play" zero star ratings?

Hello there, I've not found a solution to this, but is it possible to have MM never play songs below a certain rating when in shuffle? I have a couple of songs I absolutely HATE from artists I love. I'm OCD enough not to want to delete the offending songs, it's part of an album, but I never EVER wan...

Re: iPod sync : music ok, no playlists?

Jupp, that's r ight 1462 works like a charm. Everything syncs correctly...

In 1501, MM didn't recognize my iPod correctly either. It either showed up as "Generic" (mostly) or just iPod and not it's user designated name (ie. Blue iPod).

Re: [1501] 5 Playlists selected to sync but only 4 show up..

Same issue here, at least somethings changed since 1501 update. I sync playlists, but they won't show up on the iPod. But the songs are under artist. Also, some playlist wont sync completely and some songs are listed in the iPod under artist, but there's no music and it just skips to the next track...

iPod sync : music ok, no playlists?

Eh, what am I doing wrong here? This has worked in the past... I've done everything the way I should, tried every setting....manual sync, auto-sync......I get the music over, but the playlists are not there. I've reset, tried again, reset, tried again, deleted, reset settings.....nothing. It's curre...

Sub-playlist

Hi, tried searching but couldn't find the answer. I have several playlists and sub-playlists. Example: I have "Fitness" as a playlist, inside that I have "Running - Distance" "Running - HiiT" "Weights" etc. When I sync or "send to device", the tracks gets copied over, but not the playlist. How do I ...

Finally, no issues! MM is what I want it to be!

I've been complaining, kicking at the developers. Must stemmed from frustration over strange layouts, how stuff worked and bugs. Lateley, I've had NO issues. Everything is working as it should and I'm content with MM. Still, wish layout was a bit more "fresh" and easier to skin, but some might want ...

Re: MM4 review: "From great to terrible?"

I'm willing to sacrefice functionality over looks. Wow, hard to recall anyone ever proudly proclaiming that level of superficiality! You win the prize. With regards to MORE functionality in Mediamonkey vs better looks. I just want MM to look more polished. OT: Loads of people sacrifice functionalit...

Re: MM4 review: "From great to terrible?"

Design is all in the little things you don't really see but somehow still manage to notice. I agree with the suggestions above, it's a great start. I've said it before, MM is great no AMAZING at editing and keeping my library in pristine condition. I can sit hours and "clean" my library even further...

Re: MM4 review: "From great to terrible?"

Hmmm, I have to take a closer look at Foobar. Now, you can skin the hell out of Mediamonkey, but it's like painting over inherent flaws. It's all in the details. My guess is that the MM team is "programmer oriented" and not "design oriented". They are a bunch of nerds (pardon my french) and the desi...

Re: MM4 review: "From great to terrible?"

I don't want mm to have mirror effects, crazy animations, and other useless eye candy. I want it to look modern! I want Mediamonkey to look modern, nothing more. How much "extra" could you actually make a MP3/music player software do anyways? MM works as a MP3 player, but it sucks in the looks depa...

Re: MM4 review: "From great to terrible?"

I'm not a hater, I swear....but honestly, I haven't used MediaMonkey for a long long time. I've been using Spotify more and more even if I have 200GB++ of 320 mp3's and/or FLAC files. I just want to play music in a player that a) works, b) looks great/visually pleasing and c) doesn't feel/look outda...

MM4 review: "From great to terrible?"

Is Mediamonkey going the same route as Nero Burning Rom, RealPlayer, Roxio? Apparently so, according to this Norwegian review of MM4. A summary of the article is: "And so we rush to add MediaMonkey 4.0 is still only in beta, and we cross fingers that the developers take the sense - first and foremos...

I posted a similar question without logging in and the discussion was locked... Answer Sonos does not support streaming music using a DLNA server at this ...
