Re: Sync fail after doing so well...

Deletions depends on settings, not free space. So generally if files that were Synced before and are now no longer selected to be Synced they'll be deleted on Sync. There would be a confirmation though. Are you saying that Okaying the frozen message doesn't have Sync proceed? In my scenario no sync...

Re: Sync fail after doing so well...

The "transfer frozen" message happens now every time and waiting doesn't seem to help. Typically I've simply left the phone and computer hooked up syncing while I go away, and every time I come back now it's just hung up with this message showing, having been there for a while. But...with ...

Sync fail after doing so well...

I have a new (to me) phone (Pixel 4a 5g) with a lot of space on it, for a phone, and have been in the process of syncing some music to it from MMW5 (I have MM for Android on the phone as well). It was going along swimmingly transferring about 20 gigs already in a couple of sync sessions yesterday an...

Re: two copies of MediaMonkey Library under UPnP servers

Then delete the Library Server. I did that. If by "delete" you mean "remove". But what do you mean by "delete"? I removed the "Library" server in Options. And then, after closing MMW and then re-opening, when I go to Options the "Library" server is ...

Re: two copies of MediaMonkey Library under UPnP servers

I tried each, and for what it's worth, when I stopped "MediaMonkey Server" (and left "Library" running), my remote/client instance of MMW got "Access denied" on the server. Leaving "Server" on and "Library" off is what works for me to be able to stre...

Lowlander wrote: Sun Nov 14, 2021 1:15 pm You only need to keep one of those Servers in Media Sharing. The other can be deleted. It's a leftover from MediaMonkey 4.0 to 4.1 update.
Which one do I keep and which is "the other"? Server? Library?

Re: two copies of MediaMonkey Library under UPnP servers

This is back (two servers) with the updating to the latest vers. There are two servers listed and enabled under Media Sharing: "MediaMonkey Library" and "MediaMonkey Server". Both are seen under the Windows/Network as well. So... there are supposed to be two then, after all? What...

drakinite wrote: Sat Nov 13, 2021 10:42 pm This might be an obvious one, but do you have any Network or Media server locations in your library? (File > Add /rescan files to the library)
There are no server locations in the list under "Add/rescan..." if that's what you mean.

Update play count when streaming as a service

Sorry for the redundant post (question appears in another, more general thread), but this deserves its own, specific post: As far as updating the play count data when streaming over UPnP/DLNA, I find that only if the MM app is actually open on the "master" (server) machine when being acce...

Re: Socket error??

It looks like it's trying to download a DLNA file. Do you have a DLNA Server at that IP and port? Can you view Downloads (in the Media Tree) and if so remove the file from it? Also which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using? Version is 5.0.2.2513 The IP address referenced is the addres...

Lowlander wrote: Sat Nov 13, 2021 7:50 pm That should work after you update the driveID, so no Sync necessary.
Great!
What about the changes? Can I now establish a Sync relationship so that whenever the two locations are connected MM makes sure they are the same??

Socket error??

What does it mean when every time (lately) that I open my main MMW5 I get an error window saying, "There was a problem downloading the following file" and Socket error #10061 ?? The log I save from it reads, "Socket Error # 10061 Connection refused.: - http://192.168.254.28:14132/%5CM...
