Re: MediaMonkey ignores WMA files when auto-sync to my R0

Thank you Lowlander, I'm so stupid, I completely forgot that I bought one day some ".wma DRM" songs on Nokia Ovi.
I thought these ones where DRM-free, but they aren't. So I just have to run them on WMP to get them update.

This DRM system is so stupid.

Thank eveyrone and sorry.

Re: MediaMonkey ignores WMA files when auto-sync to my R0

It does that only for WMA files.
OGG & AAC are synchronised.

Re: MediaMonkey ignores WMA files when auto-sync to my R0

Thanks,

Here it is, but I'm not sure it will help you, as it only contains the songs that were succefully synchronised, and not the WMA that failed to. (like The Vandals - Oi To The World!.wma)

Re: MediaMonkey ignores WMA files when auto-sync to my R0

Go to Tools > Sync device > Configure, then to the "Auto-conversion" tab. At the bottom of the window it says something like "Supported formats on device" and then lists the formats. Is WMA listed there? I already did that. It was "none (all supported)" before, and I c...

MediaMonkey ignores WMA files when auto-sync to my R0

Hi,

I have the Samsung R0 (R'Play), it can play WMA (and WMA DRM) as it plays almost everything.

So why when I do an auto-sync or a manual sync, MediaMonkey ignores the WMA songs ?

And how can I solve this problem ?

Cheers,

RyanB.

Re: Can we choose the podcast destination folder on the device ?

After many tests, I know now what is the problem. But I don't know how to solve it. The problem appears with the "," and the () at the end of the code, those who are on this part : \(<Date>) <Artist>, <Album> - <Track#:2> - <Title>) (not the last parenthesis, which close all the code) When...

Re: Can we choose the podcast destination folder on the device ?

No, finally, for the music it's not exactly what I had in the first place, now it's :

(2002 Artist, Album - Track number - Title)

Instead of (2002) Artist, Album - Track number - Title.

So I guess it's a problem with the ().

I'll try to find where exactly the problem is.

Thank you, I did this but I think there is an error somewhere, cause now the file name is : e.g. : 2010 - Album - Title Artist, Album - 01 - Title ) the space between title and artist, and the ")" are in the filename :o I don't understand from where they came from :o and don't understand ...

Re: Any way not to synchronize songs that are already on device?

MM keeps track of which tracks are on the device using an internal DB mechanism which goes hand-in-hand with the auto-sync. If you didn't auto-sync the files in the first place, then it doesn't know the files are on the device. If you auto-organized them on there, it doesn't know they've been synce...

Album Cover on Podcasts, like J River does.

Hi, I'm using MediaMonkey since a long time, and it is still my favorite player. But recently I tried J River Jukebox, for the Podcast. And it's really great for that. It download automatically the image of the podcast, and put it as the album cover. That's nice when you use an MP3 Device Player tha...

Re: Any way not to synchronize songs that are already on device?

This is what I said, the structure are exactly the same, that's why it is replacing them instead of making duplication, like it would do if they were not the same. Plus, the actual files that are on the device, were put by me, using the same structure, but I used the feature "auto-organize file...
